| Actinidia arguta is a perennial deciduous woody vine fruit tree of Actinidia.It is favored by consumers because of its strong stress resistance,high economic benefit and unique quality and flavor.Summer pruning and proper fruit retention are widely used in fruit trees,which can regulate the nutritional balance of trees,improve fruit quality and ensure the stable yield of trees.In order to explore the effects of different pruning and fruit retention levels on the growth and fruiting of A.arguta,we used three varieties of A.arguta’Kuilv’,’Fenglv’and’Maolvfeng’as materials to carry out different summer pruning and fruit retention.By investigating the growth indexes of branches,and measuring the photosynthetic indexes of leaves,fruit quality and yield,the effects of pruning,pinching and fruit retention were discussed.The results can be used as technical guidance for high yield and high-quality production of A.arguta.The main results are as follows:1.The effect of different summer pruning treatments on the yield of A.arguta:There are some differences in the appropriate summer pruning techniques for different varieties.In terms of’Kuilv’,the intensity of pinching was the main influencing factor.The optimal treatment combination of’Kuilv’was to evenly erase 1/2 of the whole tree and pinch 3 leaves before flowering 7 days after flowering.The pinching period was the main factor affecting the yield of’Fenglv’.The optimal treatment combination for’Fenglv’was to evenly erase 1/3 of the whole tree and pinch 6 leaves before flowering at the full flowering stage.2.The results of the effects of different summer pruning combinations on the fruit quality of A.arguta showed that there were some differences in the appropriate summer pruning techniques for different varieties.The pinching strength was the main factor affecting the appearance quality and internal quality of’Kuilv’fruit,followed by the pinching period and the number of erased buds.The best treatment combination was to erase 1/3 or 1/2 buds and pinch 3 leaves before flowering at the full flowering stage.Taking the appearance quality or internal quality as the research object,there are some differences in the main influencing factors of green color.The number of erased buds was the main factor affecting the appearance quality.The best treatment combination was to erase 1/2 germination and pinch the first 3 leaves of inflorescence 7 days after flowering.The pinching period was the main factor affecting the internal quality of’Fenglv’.The best treatment combination was to remove 1/2 germination and pinch the first 3 leaves of inflorescence at the big bud stage.Erasing 1/2 germination and pinching the first three leaves in the inflorescence are the common best technical measures to promote the appearance and internal quality of’Fenglv’fruit.3.The impact of various summer pruning procedures on the development of A.arguta branches revealed that the thickness of‘Kuilv’fruiting branches was equally influenced by all three parameters,but the thickness of‘Fenglv’fruiting branches was more strongly influenced by the number of buds.On the presence of secondary branches in the two varieties,pinching had a significant impact.It was required to improve secondary shoot management since pinching three leaves prior to flowering would cause additional secondary shoots to sprout on new branches.4.The single fruit weight and fruit quality of A.arguta varieties’Kuilv’and’Maolvfeng’were significantly improved by fruit thinning treatment,and the yield per plant was significantly reduced.Comprehensive evaluation of the effect of fruit thinning on yield and quality,even if only one fruit is left at each fruit position,the yield per unit area of’Kuilv’4 a tree can still reach 1041.92 kg/667m~2,and the yield per unit area of’Maolvfeng’4-year-old tree can also reach 1107.78 kg/667m~2.If considering the production of high-quality A.arguta fruit,the fruit thinning method of leaving only one fruit at each fruit position can be adopted.5.Under the condition of medium fruit retention,the chlorophyll content in the leaves of’Kuilv’and’Maolvfeng’was the least,while under the condition of high fruit retention,the chlorophyll content of the two varieties was the most.The fruit weight had little effect on the relative variable fluorescence of chlorophyll in leaves.The yield and fruit quality of A.arguta can be adjusted by fruit and vegetable treatment.This result may be related to the change of the source structure of the plant and the photosynthetic capacity of the leaves. |
