| Epidemic diarrhea is the most common disease of livestock in winter.Porcine epidemic diarrhea is a highly contact intestinal infectious disease caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus. Its clinical manifestations are vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and death in severe cases. In recent years, the spread of the disease has become a problem restricting the development of global pig industry. This study carried out a PED outbreak in a pig farm in Zhejiang from mid-October 2017 to mid-April 2018 for prevention and control, drug treatment test, economic loss analysis of the pig farm, and possible causes of the disease were analyzed.5,559 piglets died during the whole disease period, among which 4,763 piglets under 10 days of age died and 796 piglets over 10 days of age died.In this study, the disease was diagnosed as porcine epidemic diarrhea by means of incidence statistics, clinical symptom examination, pathological anatomy and laboratory diagnosis(mainly including colloidal gold kit and RT-PCR method). To prevent and control epidemic diarrhea in the pig farm,a comprehensive measure of quarantine disinfection + sow return feeding + piglet drug treatment was adopted.Through the comparative test of artificial refeeding of sows and the effect of drug treatment of piglets,it is concluded that the disease mostly occures in the cold winter and spring season. The disease was persistent and the piglets were most susceptible to the lack of antibodies, the smaller the age of piglets, the higher the morbidity and mortality, and there was no specific drug for epidemic diarrhea of piglets at 3 days of age.The mixed feed additive of "jinkuihua jiuzaikang" and acetmequine can effectively improve the symptoms of piglets diarrhea and the cure rate and to reduce the mortality of piglets over 7 days old.The fecal intestines and contents of diseased piglets from 2 to 3 days were used as the disease feed. The effect of refeeding pregnant sows within 85 days of gestation was significant, which could effectively reduce the diarrhea rate and mortality rate of neonatal piglets during the outbreak of epidemic diarrhea. The results show that: rapid scientific diagnosis is the prerequisite for the prevention and the control of ped.Isolation and disinfection and sow feeding back are effective measures.Strengthening feeding management, paying attention to environmental hygiene, establishing reasonable immunization procedures, ensuring a good living environment for pigs, and maintaining the temperature and humidity environment in a suitable growth range have a certain beneficial effect on the prevention and the control of epidemic diarrhea.Through the summary of the prevention and the control of this pig farm, this study explores new control and prevention methods on the existing basis, reducing economic losses, providing the basis for the management measures of epidemic diarrhea in this farm and provided some reference for the rapid diagnosis and differential diagnosis of PED in intensive large-scale pig farm, and effective prevention and control. |
