In recent years,the Horqin Sandy Land has been affected by activities such as over-cultivation,grazing and infrastructure construction,and the ecological environment has deteriorated sharply.In order to promote ecological restoration and achieve the healthy development of vegetation construction,large-scale artificial afforestation has become the main measure to restore the ecosystem of the Korqin Sandy Land.However,due to people’s misconception of afforestation and afforestation work,the implementation of some ecological environment restoration plans lacks rationality and objectivity.In order to maintain the ecological security of the Horqin Sandy Land and realize the sustainable development of the ecological stability of the planted forest,the ecological stability evaluation index system of artificial sand fixation forest in the eastern Horqin Sandy Land was established by taking 31 artificial sand fixing forests in the eastern Horqin Sandy Land as the research object,biological stability,resistance stability and functional stability as the criterion layer,and the ecological stability of the sandy artificial sand fixing forest as the target layer.Based on the structural equation model,the weight of ecological stability index of artificial sand fixation forest was determined,and the comprehensive score value of ecological stability of each forest stand was obtained.Finally,the ecological stability of the stands of artificial sand fixation forests in the eastern part of the Horqin Sandy Land was analyzed,and corresponding improvement measures were proposed.The main findings are as follows:(1)Biological stability accounted for the largest weight(0.386),which was the core factor affecting the ecological stability evaluation of artificial sand fixation forest in the eastern part of the Horqin Sandy Land.However,the effects of functional stability and resistance stability on the ecological stability of artificial sand fixation forests in the eastern part of the Korqin Sandy Land could not be ignored,accounting for 0.339 and 0.275,respectively.(2)Forest preservation rate is the key index to evaluate the biological stability of artificial sand fixation forest,mortality rate is an important factor reflecting the resistance stability of artificial sand fixation forest,and forest land sand transport rate is an indispensable core index in studying the functional stability of artificial sand fixation forest.(3)The ecological stability of artificial sand fixation forest in the eastern part of the Horqin Sandy Land was divided into three levels: high,medium and low.The comprehensive score value of forest stand is low in the range of1.581~2.421,medium in the range of 2.421~3.261,and high in the range of3.261~4.10.(4)The ecological stability of the 31 artificial sand fixing forests was mostly at the level of high stability and moderate stability,and a small part of the forest stands were in a low stable state.Among them,the ecological stability of mixed forests such as Pinus sylvestris × Populus sylvestris ×Small-leaved Chicken Forest is relatively high,and the afforestation mode of this type of artificial sand fixing forest is a better allocation mode,and it is recommended to give priority to implementation.(5)By integrating the ecological stability evaluation results of each forest stand and the corresponding theoretical basis,measures such as reducing human activities and sealing of forest stands with high ecological stability were adopted.Measures to rationally construct mixed forest stands in pure forest stands with medium and low ecological stability,and change the mixed mode of mixed forest stands to gradually achieve a high degree of stability,so as to promote the process of ecological restoration.
