Clinical Study Of Superior Perforating Branch Flap Of Peroneal Artery To Repair The Skin Soft Tissue Defect In The Children’s Foot And Ankle

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of the peroneal artery supraolar perforator flap in repairing the skin and soft tissue defects of children’s feet and ankles.Methods: From February 2016 to September 2017,the peroneal artery superior malleolus perforator flap was used to repair the skin and soft tissue defects of the children’s ankles,with a defect area of 3.5cm x 4.0cm ～ 6.0cm x 8.5cm,all accompanied by tendon and bone exposure.Ultrasound Doppler detector was used to determine the fulcrum point before operation.The point was the rotation point of the flap.The radial artery flap was designed to be perforated,and the area of the flap was cut from 4.0cm × 5.0cm to 8.0cm × 10.5cm.Children’s ankle and foot wounds,5 cases of donor site wound directly sutured,3 cases need skin graft closure wound.Postoperative follow-up was conducted regularly to evaluate and analyze the survival of the flap and the functional recovery of the repaired foot and ankle.Results: All the flaps survived in 8 cases,and the wounds healed in the first stage.The skin flap color was basically the same as that of the surrounding skin,and the texture was soft.The appearance of the pedicle and the affected area of the skin flap was not swollen,and the wearing of shoes was not affected.The walking function was restored to normal,and the feeling of the outside of the foot and the venous return of the foot were not affected.Conclusion: The application of peroneal artery supraolar perforator flap to repair the skin and soft tissue defects of children’s feet and ankles has a good clinical effect.
