Objective: Explore the application of dexmedetomidine combined with Butorphanol in the treatment of sedation and analgesia in the recovery period of general anesthesia, and to observe the sedative and analgesic effects and the occurrence of complications..Methods: Patients with ASAⅠ-Ⅱ,aged 18-70 years, body mass index(BMI):20-25,scheduled for breast and thyroid surgery under general anesthesia were selected. They were randomly divided into three groups: group A:Dexmedetomidine group, group B: butorphanol group, group C:Dexmedetomidine combined with butorphanol group. The general data of the three groups were collected. The perioperative vital signs, postoperative RASS sedation score,Classification of chief complaint pain, memory during extubation period, incidence of nausea and vomiting were recorded.SPSS software was used to analyze the differences among the three groups. Results: There was no significant difference in perioperative vital signs among the three groups. The three groups were compared in pairs, the memory rate of extubation was 63.3% in group C,77.8% in group A and 76.7% in group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In group C,the incidence of extubation memory of grade 1 and 2 was 16.7% and 33.3%,which was significantly higher in grade 2 than in grade 1(P<0.05);In group A,the incidence of extubation memory of grade 1 and 2 was 18.5% and 37.0%,and grade 2 was significantly higher than grade 1(P<0.05).The incidence of bad memory was 13.3% in group C,22.2% in group A and 25.6% in group B.the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the incidence of bad memory between group A and group B(P >0.05).The analgesic effect of group C was significantly lower than that of group A and group B(P< 0.05);The RASS sedation score of group C was significantly better than that of group A and B(P<0.05);The incidence of nausea and vomiting in group C was significantly lower than that in group A and B(P <0.05).Conclusion: Combined application of dexmedetomidine and butorphanol for sedation and analgesia during general anesthesia recovery period can reduce the incidence of bad memory during recovery period, and reduce the incidence of agitation, nausea and vomiting during perioperative period.
