Clinical Studies On RTMS Combined With WenyangTongluo Tang Wet Compress For Improving Upper Limb Dysfunction After Stroke

[Objective]To investigate the clinical efficacyof rTMS combined with self-simulated Wenyang Tongluo Tang Chinese medicine wet compresses in the treatment of upper limb dysfunction after stroke.[Methods]1.A total of 60 patients after stroke who met the admission criteria of the Rehabilitation Department of The First Department of Rehabilitation of Wangjing Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences were selected as the study objects;2.The random number table method was used to randomly divide the study subjects into three groups,the control group,rTMS group,and the combination treatment group,with 20 cases in each group;3.The control group was adopted conventional rehabilitation treatment.The rTMS group was used rTMS on the basis of the control group.And the combination treatment group was treated rTMS combined with traditional Chinese medicine wet compresses on the basis of the control group.The patients were evaluated before and after treatment,including VAS score scale,Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Upper Extremity score scale,and modified MBI index score scale.[Result](1)VAS score results:there was no significant change in VAS score in the control group and the rTMS group after treatment(P>0.05).The score of the combination treatment group was higher than that before treatment,with the statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)FMA-UE score results:after treatment,the FMA-UE scores of the three groups were higher than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Compared within the three groups after treatment,the combination treatment group had the best effect,with the statistically significant(P<0.05);the FMA-UE score’s difference of before and after treament between the three groups was compared,showing the score of the combination treatment group was higher than that of the rTMS group and the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The wrist joint score of FMA-UE score were higher than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001),but there was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).The hand joint score of the FMA-UE were higher than those before treatment in the three groups,and the effect of the combination treatment group was significant,with the statistically significant difference between other groups(P<0.05);(3)MBI index scoring results:the MBI scores results after treatment showed were higher than those before treatment scores in the three groups(P<0.05);Compared within the three groups after treatment,the scores of the combined treatment group were higher than the rTMS group and the control group(P<0.05);Compared the MBI score’s difference of before and after treament between the three groups,the combined treatment group was higher than the rTMS group and the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Compared with the control group,the rTMS group and the combined treatment group have significant therapeutic effect,indicating that both rTMS and rTMS combined with Wenyang Tongluo Tang Chinese medicine wet compresses can improve the upper limb function after stroke and promote the rehabilitation of the patient’s hand function,and the combined treatment effect is more significant;Compared with the rTMS group,the combined treatment can significantly relieve the shoulder joint pain,indicating that the traditional Chinese medicine wet compress has the advantages in improving upper limb function and giving the good life of patients.In conclusion,rTMS combined with Wenyang Tongluo Tang Chinese medicine wet compresses is a safe and effective clinical treatment plan,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
