To a certain extent,the ancient physicians’ discussion on the characteristics of acupoints and the rules of their main treatment reflects the essential characteristics of acupoints.This part of the literature can be roughly divided into two aspects.First,the discussion on the classification of acupoints based on some theoretical understandings or classic records,such as "Jingxingshujinghe","Bahui","Yuan acupoint",etc.The discussion of the class is generally more systematic and theoretical;secondly,the discussion on key acupoints in the form of scattered or concentrated forms is a system of its own,which is mostly based on the clinical practice experience of doctors,and the degree of theory is low."Key points" in ancient Chinese medicine literature are rich in content,extensive in involvement,and high in value.However,this part of the content is scattered and complex,and the existing research pays less attention to this part of the material,and the research methods are quite different.If the research in this area is ignored,and the field of view of observation and research is only limited to the "specific acupoints",then the precious reference of acupoint theories and intellectual content that has not been accepted outside the specific acupoints will be lost,restricting the Comprehensive and profound understanding of acupoint literature.Therefore,it is necessary to systematically sort out and examine the ancient acupuncture and moxibustion key acupoint literature,clarify the possible origin and flow relationship of each key acupoint literature,and on this basis,analyze the key acupoint theory,and further excavate the ancient acupuncture key acupoint literature.Clinical Value.The purpose of this study is to systematically organize the contents of acupuncture and moxibustion key points scattered everywhere in ancient Chinese medicine literature,conduct a comprehensive analysis of the reasons for the formation of key acupoints,try to analyze the connotation of key points,clarify the process of transforming ancient key acupoint documents into specific acupoints,and explore the key points.Reasonable application of acupoints in modern acupuncture clinical acupoint selection.The research mainly includes four parts:the first part is to collect,screen and preliminarily identify the acupuncture and moxibustion key acupoints literatures in four specific historical periods from Qin and Han Dynasties to Sui and Tang Dynasties,Song,Jin and Yuan Dynasties,Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.The second part is the research on the formation of the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture and moxibustion.It comprehensively analyzes the deep-seated reasons for the coexistence of "key prescriptions","key medicines" and "key acupoints" under the medical background of the Wei and Jin Dynasties,and from the accumulation of early acupuncture and moxibustion treatment experience The formation process of key acupoints was investigated from the two aspects of TCM’s understanding of diseases.The third part attempts to analyze the connotation of the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture and moxibustion.The key acupoints also show different aspects in the understanding and application of different eras and different physicians,and analyzes from two dimensions of "the essence of curative effect" and"the essence of theory".The fourth part,the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture and moxibustion are linked to the key acupoints and specific acupoints in the textbooks of the Republic of China and early modern times.Based on this,this paper analyzes and discusses the possible problems in the exploration of the value of ancient acupuncture points and the clinical reference of modern acupuncture from both theoretical and clinical perspectives.The first part belongs to the longitudinal academic combing of the ancient acupuncture and moxibustion key acupoints literature.However,the last three parts belong to the horizontal analysis of the related problems existing in the study of the key acupoints of acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient times.Such a horizontal and a vertical make the research on the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture and moxibustion can be presented in a more objective and three-dimensional manner.The studies suggested that:First,the key points of ancient acupuncture and moxibustion were formed in the accumulation of medical practitioners’ experience in acupuncture and moxibustion treatment and their influence on disease understanding.Essential prescriptions,essential medicines,and essential acupoints are all improvements after the accumulation of medicine to a certain extent.Therefore,the above three influenced each other,inspired each other,and accompanied each other in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.Most of the knowledge of ancient acupuncture acupoints is directly summed up by ancient physicians through long-term clinical experience.The ancients gradually abstracted the specific indications of certain acupoints based on the summary of clinical laws and theoretical derivation,and these acupoints were the important acupoints for the main treatment of the disease.At the same time,the knowledge of the key acupoints of acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient times was also influenced by the literature records of the previous generation and the understanding of the disease by doctors at that time,which is the product of the compound effect.Second,the connotation of the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture can be roughly divided into "the essentials of curative effect" and "the essentials of theory".The ancient acupuncture and moxibustion key acupoints have various forms and rich connotations.In the early days,"the main acupoints of curative effect" was the main focus,which was related to the ancient physicians’ experience in treating a large number of diseases,and it was the condensed expression of the ancient physicians’main treatment of a certain acupoints.With the in-depth understanding of the disease and the accumulation of treatment experience,scattered knowledge of key acupoints began to be consciously sorted out.Some ancient physicians believed that the content of acupoints was more important from the classical theory,although this situation was not entirely based on the accumulation of clinical curative effect experience.The "requirement" of such acupoints refers more to its importance at the theoretical level,rather than the experience of treating a specific clinical condition like the "r-equirement of curative effect".Thirdly,the content of "specific acupoints" in the early acupuncture textbooks is based on ancient acupuncture key points,and the name has undergone the evolution of "key points"specific key points"-"specific points".After researching the early textbooks of "Acupuncture and Moxibustion",it is found that the specific acupoints in the current"Acupuncture and Moxibustion" textbooks are closely related to the ancient acupuncture and moxibustion key acupoints in content and form.A comprehensive,systematic and in-depth review of the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture can not only help us better understand the concept and theoretical origin of specific acupoints,but also help to supplement and refine the knowledge system of ancient and modern acupuncture.So as to achieve a further grasp of the knowledge of ancient acupuncture and moxibustion.Fourth,this study suggests that in the selection of acupoints in modern acupuncture clinical and experimental research,it is necessary to fully explore the rules of acupoint indications behind the key points,but at the same time pay attention not to generalize the indications of key points.Researchers should not only limit the field of observation and research to "specific acupoints".Those acupoint theories and knowledge content that have not been accepted are also worthy of attention in the academic circles.Acupuncture physicians of ancient and modern times will select a few acupoints as the clinical key acupoints of acupuncture in order to reduce the complexity and select the key acupoints.This part of the content does not focus on reasoning or has its own set of reasoning,but because it comes directly from the clinic and has not been overmodified,it is more practical and has a stronger guiding effect on clinical practice.Therefore,it can be used as acupoint selection for clinical and experimental research.important reference.Research limitationsThe key acupoints of ancient acupuncture provide a new perspective for acupuncture theoretical research and understanding of ancient acupuncture academics,through which academic resources that have been neglected in the past can be discovered.For the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture,this study is only the beginning.Limited by the length of the thesis and personal research ability,this research still has some shortcomings.In terms of the scope of the literature involved,the literature on key acupoints scattered in a large number of ancient Chinese medicine books has not been collected completely,and the relevant content that does not have the name of the key acupoint but expresses its connotation has not been included.In terms of the academic changes and evolution of key acupoints,the influence of ancient acupuncture points on Japan,South Korea and other countries....As far as the clinical value of key acupoints is judged,it is inseparable from the in-depth analysis of the origin of the literature records of key acupoints and a comprehensive comparison with ancient acupuncture and moxibustion syndromes and medical records.These deficiencies will be improved and perfected in the future in-depth research on the key acupoints of ancient acupuncture and moxibustion.
