Meta-analysis And Clinical Study Retrospective Of Acupuncture Point Patches For The Treatment Of Adhesive Intestinal Obstruction

Research background: adhesive intestinal obstruction(AIO)is one of the common clinical acute abdomen,abdominal surgery after adhesions is its main cause,in the motherland medicine as "intestinal knots","abdominal pain","Guan Ge",etc.,clinically often manifested as "pain,vomiting,swelling,closure".Western medicine conventional conservative treatment measures include gastrointestinal decompression,diet,nutritional support,anti-infection,etc.,nowadays,many doctors in the conventional treatment of Western medicine with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics of therapy,such as acupuncture,acupuncture point patch,moxibustion,Chinese medicine enema,etc.,in the clinic has achieved obvious efficacy,but such comprehensive therapy has not yet systematic evaluation to prove its efficacy,so this study provides treatment ideas for acupuncture point patch treatment AIO.Research Objectives: 1.Clinical efficacy of acupuncture point patches in the treatment of AIO was evaluated by meta-analysis;2.Clinical review of the efficacy of acupuncture point patches in the treatment of AIO to confirm the results of meta-analysis;3.Combining the results of the two studies provides a theoretical basis for acupuncture point patch treatment of AIO,thereby guiding clinical treatment.Research Methods:Research 1: CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,CBM Chinese databases,PubMed,EMbase,The Cochrane Library English database,retrieved the time limit from the establishment of the library until November 2021;the RCT trial of acupuncture point patch treatment AIO was searched by 2 researchers independently according to the criteria of literature inclusion and exclusion.Bias risk assessment and quality assessment were performed with the Jadad scale through the Cochrane Systematic Reviewer Handbook version 5.1.0,and the data were extracted and meta-analysed via The Revman5.3 software available from the Cochrane Collaboration Network.Research 2: Through the electronic medical record system,AIO patients admitted to the Gastrointestinal and Hernia Surgery Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2018 to September 2021 were screened,the medical records were extracted,the SPSS 25 software was used for statistical analysis,and the clinical efficacy of acupuncture point patches in the treatment of AIO was retrospectively analyzed.Study results:Study 1: The total effective rate of acupuncture point patch treatment AIO is higher than that of conventional treatment in Western medicine alone,which can significantly shorten the relief time of abdominal pain and the time of first exhaust.Effective rate [OR=5.32 95%CI(2.64,10.69)p <0.00001];time to relief for abdominal pain [SMD=-1.60;95%CI(-2.34,-0.85);P<0.0001];Bloating relief time [SMD=-2.29;95%CI(-5.51,-0.58);P=0.12];first exhaust time [SMD=-1.17;95%CI(-1.73,-0.60);P<0.0001];time to first bowel movement [SMD=-0.51;95%CI(-1.51,0.49);P=0.32]。Study 2: After statistical analysis,the effective rate of acupuncture point patch treatment AIO is better than that of conventional treatment in Western medicine alone,which can shorten the number of days in hospitalization,improve abdominal pain,shorten the time of first exhaust and defecation,and effectively reduce white blood cell count and neutrophil count.Efficiency χ2=8.745a(take v=2,α=0.05 level),P=0.013;number of days in hospital Ζ=-2.332,P=0.020;abdominal pain recovery time Ζ=-1.72,P=0.085;abdominal distention relief time Ζ=-0.644,P=0.520;nausea and vomiting relief time Ζ=-0.299,P=0.7650;recovery exhaust time Ζ=-3.690,P=0.000;recovery time Ζ=-3.081,P=0.002;gastric tube indwelling time Ζ=-1.781,P=0.075;white blood cell count Ζ=-4.814,P=0.000;neutrophil count Ζ=-4.958,P=0.000;hypersensitivity C-reactive protein count Ζ=-1.351,P=0.177.Research Conclusions:Study 1: Meta analysis results show that the total effective rate of acupuncture point patch treatment AIO is better than that of Western medicine treatment alone,but due to the small number of finally included literature and the low quality of literature,the conclusions need to be further verified by more high-quality literature.Study 2: Statistical analysis shows that the total effective rate of acupuncture point patch treatment AIO is higher than that of Western medicine alone,but due to the limitations of clinical retrospective analysis,there is a certain error in statistics.
