| Objective: To observe the score of dysmenorrhea symptom and numerical rating scale(NRS)of adenomyosis(AM)patients by the treatment of herb-partitioned moxibustion and warm acupuncture,to evaluate clinical efficacy of the treatment, and to provide a novel thinking and new method which is safe and effective for AM clinical treatment.Method: In this study,60 AM patients were randomly divided into two groups, with 30 patients in each group. The experimental group was treated with herb-partitioned moxibustion on umbilicus and warm acupuncture, and the control group was treated with herb-partitioned moxibustion on umbilicus only. Both groups were treated once every 7days(the treatment is suspended during menstruation).Define one menstrual cycle as one course of treatment, and a total of 3 courses of treatment were given. The dysmenorrhea symptom score and NRS score were recorded before and after each course.and statistical analysis was performed to compare the clinical efficacy differences between the two groups.Result:1.Baseline data: Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in age, course of disease, dysmenorrhea symptom score, dysmenorrhea symptom score and NRS score between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Dysmenorrhea degree: After treatment, both of the two treatment methods can effectively reduce the dysmenorrhea degree of AM patients. In terms of clinical effectiveness, the experimental group was 96.43%,and the control group was 78.75%.The clinical effective rate of experimental group was better than control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Dysmenorrhea symptom scores: After treatment, both treatments can effectively reduce the scores of dysmenorrhea symptoms in AM patients(P<0.01).After the third course of treatment, the therapeutic effect of experimental group was better than that of control group(P<0.01).4.NRS score: After treatment, both treatments could effectively reduce the NRS score of AM patients(P<0.01).After the third course of treatment, the therapeutic effect of experimental group was better than that of control group(P<0.01).5.Safety: During the treatment, bleeding occurred in 2 cases of the experimental group; In the control group,4 patients showed discomfort in the umbilical cord during drug retention. Conclusion: Both herb-partitioned moxibustion on umbilicus combined with warm acupuncture and herb-partitioned moxibustion on umbilicus alone can alleviate the dysmenorrhea of adenomyosis patients, the former is better than the latter. |
