Clinical Observation Of Huguenot Huatan Decoction In The Treatment Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome Of Vascular Cognitive Dysfunction After Cerebral Infarction

Objective: To observe the effect of Huoxue Huatan decoction on the scores of neuropsychological scale MMSE,Mo CA,ADL and SDSVD in patients with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome of vascular cognitive impairment(VCI)after cerebral infarction,and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Huoxue Huatan decoction on vascular cognitive dysfunction after cerebral infarction.Methods: All the cases in this study were collected from outpatients and inpatients in Ruikang Hospital affiliated to Guangxi University of traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to January 2022.64 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and western medicine for VCI after cerebral infarction were randomly divided into control group(n = 32)and observation group(n = 32).After 30 days of treatment,they were randomly divided into control group(n = 32)and observation group(n = 32).By observing and comparing the scores of neuropsychological scale MMSE,Mo CA,ADL and the score of TCM syndrome(SDSVD)between the control group and the observation group,the differences between the two groups were explained in order to verify the efficacy and safety of Huoxue Huatan decoction in the treatment of VCI after cerebral infarction.Results: Finally,a total of 60 cases were included in observation and analysis,including treatment group(n = 30),control group(n = 30)and shedding(n =4).1.There was no significant difference in the baseline data between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.The TCM syndrome integral quantification table,MMSE,Mo CA and ADL score indexes were observed in each group.The results showed that both Chinese and western medicine could improve the clinical effect of VCI patients with cerebral infarction of phlegm and blood stasis type.3.According to the evaluation of the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine,the total effective rate of the observation group was 83.33%,while that of the control group was 53.33%.The observation group was cured in 0cases,markedly effective in 3 cases,effective in 22 cases,ineffective in 5cases,and total effective in 25 cases;the control group was cured in 0 cases,markedly effective in 1 case,effective in 15 cases,ineffective in 14 cases,and total effective in 16 cases.It shows that Huoxue Huatan decoction plays a significant role in the total effective rate of the disease.Conclusion:1.Huoxue Huatan decoction can significantly improve the cognitive function,activities of daily living and quality of life of patients with VCI after cerebral infarction.2.Huoxue Huatan decoction has a significant effect on improving the TCM symptoms and signs of patients with vascular cognitive impairment(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome)after cerebral infarction.3.The scores of each scale were improved in Huoxue Huatan decoction combined with Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets and Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets alone,but the curative effect of Huoxue Huatan decoction combined with Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets was more significant than that of Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets alone.It is considered that the effect of combination is better.4.Huoxue Huatan decoction is safe and effective with no obvious side effects.
