Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and treatment time of foot six meridians puncture and bloodletting combined with electroacupuncture and conventional methods in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with blood stasis blocking collaterals, and compare their differences,so as to explore a more simple, effective and cheap treatment method. Methods: According to the preset inclusion criteria, the patients with knee osteoarthritis of qi stagnation and blood stasis type were determined to be included. The collected cases(72 cases)were randomly assigned to three groups: routine medication group(control group)and electroacupuncture combined with collateral puncture and bloodletting group(treatment group),with 36 cases in each group. The whole course of treatment was 4 weeks. The changes of pain score and symptom score before and after treatment were observed. The pain score VAS,knee osteoarthritis score scale WOMAC and TCM symptom rating scale were observed for c linical efficacy evaluation.Result: 1.The VAS scores of patients in both groups were reduced after treatment compared with those before treatment, which indicated that the pain was relieved by the therapies in both groups.Among them, the score differenc e before and after treatment was higher in the treatment group than in the control group with statistical significance(P<0.001),so the effect of combined electroacupuncture at six meridians acupoints on relieving pain was better compared with the oral ce lecoxib capsule group.2.The WOMAC scores of the patients in both groups were reduced after treatment compared with those before treatment, which indicated that both therapies could improve the patients’ joint pain, stiffness, and improve their daily activity function.Among them, the score difference before and after treatment was higher in the treatment group than in the control group with statistical significance(P <0.001),so compared with the oral celecoxib capsule group, the combination of acupoint e xsanguination foot six meridians combined with electroacupuncture can significantly reduce the joint pain, improve the stiffness and improve the daily activity function of the patients.3.The TCM symptom grading scale scores of patients in both groups wer e reduced after treatment compared with those before treatment, which indicated that both therapies could improve the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis.Among them, the score difference before and after treatment was higher in the treatment group than in the control group with statistical significance(P<0.001),so the combination of acupoint bloodletting foot hexameric acupoint and electroacupuncture was superior to oral celecoxib capsule in improving qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.4.In terms of efficacy assessment, the total effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group and 83.3% in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)between the two groups in the overall efficacy, which indicated that the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome)by the combination of acupoint bloodletting six meridians combined with electroacupuncture was better. Conclusion: Acupuncture and bloodletting at the six meridians of the foot combined with electroacupuncture and celecoxib capsule can effectively alleviate the pain and corresponding symptoms of patients with knee osteoarthritis(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome),and improve the joint function of patients.Compared with celecoxib capsule, the clinical effect of pricking collaterals and bloodletting foot six meridians combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome)is better, which is worthy of popularization and application.
