Effect Of Gluteal Muscle Combined Hegu Acupuncture On Pelvis Posture Control Of Stroke Patients

Objective:To observe the effect of gluteal muscles and valley acupuncture on pelvis posturecontr-ol of patients with stroke by DIERS three-dimensional spine and posture evaluation system(DIERS Formetric III 4D),and to evaluate its effect on walking ability and ba-lance ability of lower extremities by related scale.Methods:76 patients with stroke were randomly divided into Hegu acupuncture group andcontro-l group.72 cases were completed,36 cases in each group.The control group was trea-ted with routine basic treatment,acupuncture and rehabilitation training,while the He gu acupuncture group was treated with Hegu acupuncture on the affected side on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks,5 days a week.The pelvic tilt offset,the difference of bilateral pelvic rotation angle,lower limb Fugl-Mey er Assessment scale(FMA),Functional ambulation category scale(FAC)and Berg bala nce scale(BBS)were evaluated before the first treatment and 4 weeks after treatment.Results:1.Pelvic tilt offset(mm):the deviation of pelvic inclination in Hegu acupuncture group was lower than that before treatment(P<0.01),and the deviation of pelvic inclination in control group was also lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);However,after 4weeks of treatment,the pelvic tilt offset in Hegu acupuncture group was lowerthan th at in the control group(P<0.01).2.The difference of bilateral pelvic rotation angle(°): the difference in the Hegu acup uncture group was lower than that before treatment(P<0.01),and that in the control g roup was also lower than that before treatment(P<0.01).But after 4 weeks of treatme-nt,the difference in the Hegu acupuncture group was significantly lower than thatin the control group(P<0.01).3.Scale score results:Compared with before treatment,the scores of FMA,FAC and B-BS of lower limbs in the two groups were improved after 4 weeks of treatment(all P<0.01).After 4 weeks of treatment,the scores of all scales in Hegu acupuncture grou-p were significantly higher than those in the control group(all P<0.01).Conclusions:1.Gluteal muscle combined Hegu acupuncture can improve the tilt,offset and rotation angle of pelvis in stroke patients,and improve the stability of pelvis in gait support p hase.2.Gluteal muscle combined Hegu acupuncture can improve the lower limb motor funct-ion,walking ability and balance function of stroke patients.
