Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Neck Type Cervical Spondylopathy By Press Needle Combined With Massage Therapy

Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment of Neck Type Cervical Spondylopathy by press needle combined with massage.And the effect of this treatment on the Visual Analogue Scales(VAS),the Neck Disability Index(NDI),and the median frequency(MF)of surface electromyography(s EMG)of upper trapezius in patients with Neck Type Cervical Spondylopathy was observed.Methods:From January 2021 to January 2022,a total of 64 patients who met the subject criteria of diagnosis,inclusion and exclusion were selected from the outpatient massage department of our hospital.According to the principle of simple randomization,the 64 patients were divided into treatment group and control group,32 cases in each group.The control group was treated with massage,while the treatment group was treated with massage and press needle.The treatment time of the two groups was 30 minutes,once every other day,10 times as a course of treatment.The score of the VAS and NDI,also the MF of s EMG of upper trapezius were recorded before and after treatment.SPSS24.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data obtained in this study.Results:1.A total of 64 patients were included in this study,and 59 patients completed the clinical trial,of which 3 cases were excluded from the treatment group and 2 cases from the control group.The total shedding rate was 7.81%.2.Before the treatment,there were no significant differences in gender,age,VAS scores,NDI scores and the MF of s EMG of upper trapezius between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Comparison of VAS scores between the two groups after treatment: The VAS scores after treatment and before treatment were compared within groups,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The VAS scores before treatment were compared with those after the treatment among groups,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Improvement Degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.4.Comparison of NDI scores between the two groups after treatment: The NDI scores of each group before treatment and after treatment were compared within the group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of NDI score between groups after treatment and before treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Improvement Degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.5.Comparison of the MF of s EMG of upper trapezius between the two groups after treatment:The MF in each group were compared before treatment and after treatment,and there was statistical significance(P<0.05).The difference of MF between groups after treatment and before treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Improvement Degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.6.According to the evaluation of clinical efficacy standard,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,and that of the control group was 86.67%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Both simple massage therapy and press needle combined with massage therapy have good clinical efficacy in the treatment of Neck type cervical spondylopathy,while press needle combined with massage therapy has better clinical efficacy than simple massage therapy.2.Both simple massage therapy and press needle combined with massage therapy can improve the VAS score,NDI score,and increase the digital of MF of patients with Neck type cervical spondylopathy.Press needle combined with massage therapy has a more significant effect on the above observation indexes,which showed that the combination of massage and press needle could relieve the pain and neck muscle fatigue better than the single massage therapy.
