| Objective:To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in treating primary dysmenorrhea of cold blood coagulation stasis type by meta-analysis,and to provide evidence-based medicine evidence for the effective and rational use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of the disease. Methods:The literature database was searched for all relevant published randomi-zed controlled trials of Chinese herbal medicine for primary dysmenorrhea with cold clotting and blood stasis from January 2010 to October 2021.Screening,data collection, and quality evaluation of the retrieved literature were initiated according to the Cochrane Handbook methodology.Outcome indicators included total effective rate,VAS score, dysmenorrhea symptom score, adverse effects and recurrence rate.Meta-analysis,risk of bias assessment and sensitivity analysis were performed on the included literature using Rev Man 5.4 software, and forest and funnel plots were drawn. Results:A total of 353 relevant literatures were obtained in this study, and 16 literatures that met the requirements were finally included. The total sample size was 1418 cases, including 711 cases in the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and 707 cases in the pure western medicine treatment group.Meta-analysis results:(1)The total effective rate: OR=3.93,[95% CI(2.69,5.75)];Z=7.06,P<0.001,the results indicate that there is a significant difference, with statistical significance, indicating that traditional Chinese medicine treats cold The clinical efficacy of primary dysmenorrhea of??coagulation stasis type is better than that of western medicine alone.(2)The score of dysmenorrhea symptoms: MD=-1.32,[95% CI(-1.63,-1.02)],Z=8.50,P< 0.0001,the results indicate that there is a significant difference, there is statistical significance, showing that traditional Chinese medicine treats cold blood coagulation Stasis type primary dysmenorrhea is better than simple western medicine in relieving pain.(3)VAS score: MD=-1.38,[95%CI(-1.91,-0.85)],Z=5.06,P<0.001,the results indicate that there is a significant difference, with statistical significance, indicating that traditional Chinese medicine treats cold blood and blood stasis The VAS score of primary dysmenorrhea was better than that of western medicine alone.(4)Analysis of adverse reactions: RR=0.26,[95% CI(0.15,0.44)],Z=4.88,P<0.0001,the results showed statistical significance, indicating that the incidence of adverse reactions of traditional Chinese medicine treatment was higher than that of pure western medicine treatment.Low.(5)Recurrence rate: OR=0.08,[95% CI(0.04,0.16)],Z=6.97(P<0.00001),the results showed statistical significance, indicating that the recurrence rate of traditional Chinese medicine treatment was lower than that of simple western medicine treatment.Conclusion:(1)Traditional Chinese medicine is more effective than western medicine in treating primary dysmenorrhea of cold blood stasis type.(2)Traditional Chinese medicine is better than simple western medicine in relieving pain in primary dysmenorrhea of cold blood stasis type.(3)The VAS score of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea of cold blood stasis type is better than that of pure western medicine.(4)The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea with cold blood stasis and blood stasis by traditional Chinese medicine is lower than that in the treatment of simple western medicine.(5)The recurrence rate of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of primary dysmenorrhea of cold blood stasis type is lower than that of simple western medicine treatment. |
