Clinical Observation Of Tong Du Xing Shen Acupuncture In The Tredtment Of Cognitive Impairment Associated With Ischemic Cerebral Small Vessel Disease

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Tongdu Xingshen acupuncture in the treatment of cognitive impairment in cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD-VCl)and its effect on the executive function,attention and processing speed of patients.Methods:A total of 60 patients were randomly divided into Tongdu Xingshen group(n=30)and ordinary acupuncture group(n=30).Both groups were given corresponding individualized basic treatment,and on this basis,Tongdu Xingshen acupuncture and ordinary acupuncture were given respectively.The two groups of patients were treated 6 days a week,40 min each time,for a total of 4 weeks.Before and after treatment,Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(Mo CA)and Trail Making Test(TMT)were used to measure and record relevant data to judge the efficacy.Statistical software SPSS25.0 was used for statistical analysis of data,and differences before and after treatment were evaluated.Results:(1)After treatment,the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(Mo CA)scores in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the Tongdu Xingshen group was better than the ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.05).(2)The time for Trail Making Test(TMT)in the two groups after treatment was reduced compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the Tongdu Xingshen group was better than ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.05).(3)The total effective rate of the Tongdu Xingshen group was 90.0%,and the total effective rate of the ordinary acupuncture group was 73.3%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Both the acupuncture method of Tongdu Xingshen and ordinary acupuncture can improve the overall cognitive function of patients with CSVD-VCl,but the acupuncture method of Tongdu Xingshen is better.(2)Both the acupuncture method of Tongdu Xingshen and ordinary acupuncture can effectively improve the executive function,attention and processing speed of patients with CSVD-VCl,but the acupuncture method of Tongdu Xingshen is better.(3)The clinical curative effect of Tongdu Xingshen acupuncture for CSVD-VCl is better than that of ordinary acupuncture.
