| Objective:To explore the serum thyroid hormone levels and their correlation of unipolar depression and bipolar depression patients..Methods:36 patients with unipolar depression,41 patients with bipolar depression and 42 healthy controls in mental health center of Linyi hospital on August 01 in 2019-2019,levels of serum FT3,FT4,T3,T4 and TSH,HAMD rating scale and their correlation were determined, the simultaneous determination of thyroid peroxidase antibodies(TPOAb)anti thyroglobulin(Tg Ab)levels. Results:Scores of cognitive impairment in the unipolar depression group were significantly higher than that of bipolar depression group,FT3 in unipolar depression group was significantly reduced,T4,FT4 and TSH levels of two groups had no significant difference, while T3 levels of two groups were significantly increased. In the bipolar depression group,T3 and FT3 levels were positively correlated with total scores,FT3 and FT4 levels were negatively correlated with weight loss scores,FT3 and FT4 levels were positively correlated with block scores, and T3 levels were positively correlated with cognitive impairment scores. In addition,TPOAb and Tg Ab protein levels were significantly increased in the two groups, and TPOAb and Tg Ab protein levels in the bipolar depression group were significantly higher than those in the monophasic depression group. Conclusion:Compared with unipolar depression, thyroid hormone levels are more correlated with bipolar depression,T3 and FT3 levels are more correlated with unipolar and bipolar depression, and thyroid function indicators TPOAb and Tg Ab can be used as one of the indicators for evaluation of unipolar and bipolar depression. This finding may provide reference for intervention and treatment of unipolar and bipolar depression. |
