| Objective:1.Establish a supportive care program for breast cancer chemotherapy patients based on empower-ment education combined with IMB model.2.Conduct preliminary clinical application of the supportive care program for breast cancer chemotherapy patients to verify its effectiveness.Methods:1.Establishment of supportive care program for breast cancer chemotherapy patients: Under the guidance of the theoretical framework of supportive care, this study first constructed the draft intervention program through literature analysis; Then improve the program by the qualitative interview from the perspective of patients; Finally, convene an expert meeting to discuss the intervention plan, certify and revise the content of the plan.2.Preliminary clinical application of supportive care program for breast cancer chemotherapy patients:86 breast cancer chemotherapy patients were selected as the research objects, and divided into groups according to the ward, mainly including intervention group and control group. The intervention group used the supportive care program of empowering education combined with IMB model for breast cancer chemotherapy patients, while the control group used routine care, and the effectiveness of the program was evaluated.Results:1.Analyzed 10 literatures related to determined the implementer, form, measure, outcome indicators and other specific details of the intervention.Qualitative interviews of 14 breast cancer patients,disease-related information(etiology, inducing factors, symptoms and prognosis),examination results guidance, medication guidance and home rehabilitation knowledge, introduction of medical insurance reimbursement process were added in the content of intervention program, text and video data were added in the form of intervention.Convened an expert meeting of 11 experts, the inclusion criteria and specific intervention time points were adjusted, and specific intervention contents(pain management,PICC care, relapse management)were added.2.Preliminary clinical application: In addition to the dimension of sexual needs, the scores of different dimensions of patients’ supportive care needs in the intervention group are significantly smaller than those in the control group(P < 0.05),which indicates that supportive care programs can basically meet patients’ supportive care needs;Except for social and family status and emotional status, the scores of different dimensions of patients’ quality of life in the intervention group were significantly smaller than those in the control group(P < 0.05).From the results,it showed that supportive care scheme improved patients’ quality of life.Except for the dimension of family support, the scores of patients’ perceived social support in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P <0.05),which indicated that the level of patients’ perceived social support could be effectively enhanced during the implementation of supportive care program. The scores of anxiety and depression of patients in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05),indicating that the supportive care program can effectively reduce the anxiety and depression level of patients Conclusions:The supportive care program for breast cancer chemotherapy patients based on empowerment education combined with IMB model is scientific and innovative. The preliminary clinical application of the program in breast cancer chemotherapy patients verifies the effectiveness of the program, enhances the patients’ own quality of life, improves the patients’ perceived social support level, and reduces their anxiety and depression level. This topic provides a new idea for supportive care of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, which is worth popularizing and providing reference for clinical practice. |
