ObjectiveTo construct a health education program for osteoporotic lumbar vertebrae fracture based on The theoretical framework of Green’s model, and to construct a questionnaire for osteoporotic lumbar vertebrae fracture.Methods1.Based on relevant literature and semi-structured interviews, the research team prepared a questionnaire on osteoporosis knowledge, awareness and behavior, evaluated the reliability and validity of the questionnaire through expert letter consulta-tion and large sample size experiment.2.On the theoretical basis of Green’s model,by reviewing the cases of patients with osteoporotic lumbar fracture from August to November in 2020,the main influ-encing factors of health education for patients were summarized, and the draft of health education program for osteoporotic lumbar fracture based on Green’s model was formed, and the draft plan was revised through the expert meeting.Formation of a health education program for osteoporotic lumbar fracture.Patients with osteoporotic lumbar fractures meeting inclusion criteria from April to June in 2021 were selected and divided into control group and intervention group by random number table method, with 39 patients in each group. The control group was given routine health education, and the intervention group was given health education based on Green model. The intervention time of both groups was 6 months.SF-36 Quality of Life Scale,Osteoporosis Self-efficacy Scale, osteoporosis knowledge, and awareness and behavior questionnaire,BMI and refracture rate were used to evaluate the intervention effect before intervention,at 3 and 6 months,respectively.Results1.The reliability and validity of the osteoporosis knowledge, awareness and behavior questionnaire was good.respectively, cronbach’s α coefficients of knowledge dimension, attitude dimension and behavior dimension were 0.904,0.871 and 0.859.The overall content validity of the questionnaire was 0.94,and the content validity of each item was between 0.87-1.00.2.39 patients were included in the control group and the intervention group, and one patient was lost to follow-up in the control group and one in the intervention group.Finally,38 patients were included in the control group and the intervention group, and there was no statistical difference in baseline data between the two groups before the intervention(P > 0.05).3.3 months after intervention and 6 months after intervention compare with before intervention. The time effect,inter-group effect and interaction effect of quality of life, osteoporosis self-efficacy scale and the total score of osteoporosis knowledge, belief and behavior questionnaire were statistically significant.(P < 0.05).4.After 3 months of intervention, the total score of quality of life,PF,RP,GH,MH and RE in 2 groups were higher in the intervention group than in the control group(P <0.05),while there were no significant differences in BP,VT,SF and HT scores between2 groups and the intervention group(P > 0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the total score of quality of life and scores of all dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).5.The total score of osteoporosis self-efficacy in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group at 3 and 6 months of intervention(P <0.05).6.There was no significant difference in the total score of knowledge, belief and action of osteoporosis between 2 groups after 3 months of intervention(P > 0.05),and the total score of knowledge, belief and action in intervention group was significantly higher than that in control group after 6 months of intervention(P < 0.05).7.After 6 months of intervention, body mass index(BMI)in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).8.No refracture occurred in both groups.Conclusion1.The questionnaire has good reliability and validity, which can provide clinical nurses with an effective tool to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and behavior of osteoporosis patients.2.The health education program based on Green’s model can increase the disease-related knowledge of patients with osteoporotic lumbar fractures and ultimately improve their quality of life.
