Objective1.To verify and evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Perceived Stress Scale in nurses.2.To understand the current state of psychological stress and the tendency to develop anxiety, somatization symptoms and obsessive-compulsive symptoms in nurses under normalized prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic.3.To explore the correlation between psychological stress and anxiety, somatization symptoms and obsessive-compulsive symptoms, analyze the influencing factors related to the level of psychological stress of nurses, and provide a reference basis for the relevant departments to develop intervention strategies.Methods1.Through convenience sampling, nurses who worked in Hospitals in Guangdong Province from January 23 to 24,2021 were selected as the respondents to test the reliability and validity of CPSS.The respondents were randomly divided into2 groups by random number method. One group performed item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, and the other group performed confirmatory factory analysis and criterion-related validity analysis.2.Through convenience sampling, nurses working in various hospitals in Guangdong Province from 24 to 31,2021 were selected for a cross-sectional survey, with psychological stress scores≤25 as the low psychological stress group,scores≥26 as the high psychological stress group.Contingency table and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis on the status quo of psychological stress and related influencing factors of nurses in Guangdong Province under the normalized prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic.Results1.In the first part of the reliability test of CPSS,a total of 742 questionnaires were returned.EFA obtained two factors of perceived stress and perceived coping ability, and the cumulative variance explained 55.980%.CFA results indicated that the fit index of the two-factor model(x~2/df=4.22,CFI=0.90,TLI=0.88,GFI=0.88,IFI=0.90,SRMR=0.07,RMSEA=0.09)was better than that of the one-factor model(x~2/df=12.43,CFI=0.64,TLI=0.58,GFI=0.65,IFI=0.65,SRMR=0.17,RMSEA=0.18).The total score of CPSS was positively correlated with the subscale factor scores of anxiety, somatic symptoms, and obsession-compulsive symptoms(r=0.626,0.544,0.670),all p<0.01.2.In the second part of the study on the current state of psychological stress and factors influencing nurses under the normalized prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic,A total of 3772 questionnaires were collected,of which3711wre valid(1284 subjects were from COVID-19 designated hospitals in Guangdong Province, and 2427 were from non-designated hospitals),with an effective rate of 98.4%.The average CPSS score for all respondents was 23.75±7.38,which was at a relatively normal level.3.In the study,a total of 44.9%of respondents scored≥26 on the CPSS,indicating a significant degree of psychological stress.Nurses with high psychological stress had higher levels of anxiety symptoms(38.9%vs.8.4%),somatization symptoms(29.8%vs.7.0%),and compulsion symptoms(61.3%vs.23.9%)than nurses with low psychological stress.Stepwise multiple linear regression analysis found that age, weekly working hours, knowledge of respiratory infectious diseases, intentionally reducing going out, wearing a mask when going out, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive symptoms were the influencing factors of nurses’psychological stress scores. The degree of understanding of respiratory infectious diseases, intentionally reducing going out,and wearing masks when going out are protective factors for nurses’psychological stress.Conclusion1.The Chinese version of the Perceived Stress Scale has good validity and reliability among nurses in China, and can be uses as a tool to detect nurses’psychological stress.2.The average score of psychological stress of nurses in the study was(23.75±7.38),which was at a relatively normal level, but 44.9%of the nurses whose psychological stress score was more than 26 points, which was in a high-risk state.3.Nurses’psychological stress level is affected by many factors. Therefore, hospital managers need to strengthen nurses’learning of respiratory infectious diseases and encourage nurses to apply correct protective measures. The managers of relevant departments can take appropriate measures to relieve the anxiety of nurses and reduce the obsessive-symptoms of nurses to reduce the high psychological stress level of nurses,so as to protect the physical and mental of nurses and encourage them to meet the future challenges with a better mental outlook.
