Acupuncture And Cupping Therapy Combined With Modified Yang Xue Ding Feng Tang In The Treatment Of Chronic Eczema (Blood Deficiency And Wind Dryness)

Purpose of research:Observe the effectiveness acupuncture and cupping therapy with oral treatment of chronic eczema.Research meaning:By evaluating the efficacy of Modified Yang Xue Ding feng Tang with,acupuncture and cupping therapy on chronic eczema,highlighting the importance of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,providing a new clinical treatment ideas for chronic eczema and exploring the mechanism of its action in the future.Research technique:A total of 60 patients with chronic eczema who met the inclusion criteria were selected,randomly divided treatment group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.Among them,the treatment group took Modified Yang Xue Ding Feng Tang(the dried rhizome of rehmannia、moutan bark、kuh-seng、tuber fleeceflower stem、earthworm、Angelica sinensis、tuckahoe、Job’s tears、the root of red-rooted salvia、cortex dictamni、Licorice)and acupuncture and cupping therapy;the control group only took Modified Yang Xue Ding Feng Tang.In addition,both groups used huangqin ointment as the basic treatment.During the research,EASI score and pruritus VAS score after 4 weeks of initial treatment of all patients in the treatment group and control group were recorded respectively.Result:1.In the course of treatment(3 cases in the treatment group and 2 cases in the control group),55 cases were actually completed,including 27 patients in the treatment group and 28 patients in the control group.2.There was no significant difference in baseline EASI scores and pruritus VAS score scores between the two groups(P>0.05).3.The changes in EASI and VAS scores varied significantly after 4 weeks of treatment(P<0.05)4.The EASI and VAS were not significantly different after 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05)5.The total treatment response rate of the needle and tank treatment group was 59%,and that of the TCM control group was 50%,with no statistical difference(P>0.05)ConclusionAcupuncture and cupping combined with Modified Yang Xue Ding Feng Tang and simple oral of Modified Yang Xue Ding Feng Tang can treat chronic eczema,but with acupuncture and cupping therapy is not significantly better than simple oral Modified Yang Xue Ding Feng Tang.
