ObjectivesTo investigate the current situation of nurses’ perfectionism,self-acceptance,work-family conflict and enrichment, analyze the influence of demographic data on perfectionism, and explore the relationship and mechanism between nurses’ perfectionism,self-acceptance,workfamily conflict and enrichment,so as to provide theoretical basis for nurses to improve their work and life quality.Methods473 nurses from different levels of hospitals were selected as subjects for questionnaire survey by convenience sampling method from October 2020 to March 2021.The survey tools included the general data questionnaire, the Chinese Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, the Self-acceptance Questionnaire, the Work-family Conflict Scale and the Work-family Enrichment Scale.SPSS 21.0 and Amos 26.0 were used for data analysis.ResultsThere were 473 subjects in this study. The results were as follows:1.Among the subjects,434(91.8%)were female and 39(8.2%)were male. The age group was mainly 31-35 years old(38.9%),followed by 26-30 years old(32.3%).The majority of working years were 6-10 years, accounting for 37.2%.Most of the technical titles were junior nurses, accounting for 48.4%.Non-teaching nurses accounted for the majority, accounting for 70.6%.Off-staff nurses accounted for the majority of 81.4%.The majority of nurses were in grade-3 hospitals, accounting for 76.1%.Most nurses had bachelor degree, accounting for 81.6%.Married nurses accounted for the most of 76.7%.Almost half of nurses gave birth to one child, accounting for 46.6%.2.The total score of nurses’ perfectionism was(91.11±16.00),and the average scores of positive and negative perfectionism were(4.15±0.62)and(3,15±0.75).The total score of nurses’ self-acceptance was(41.60±5.39),and the average scores of self-acceptance factor and self-evaluation factor were(2.75±0.50)and(2.45±0.51).The total score of nurses’ work-family conflict was(30.42±8.01),and the average scores of work→family conflict and family→work conflict were(3.35±0.84)and(2.73±0.98).The total score of nurses’ work-family enrichment was(30.08±5.30),and the average scores of family→work enrichment and work→family enrichment were(3.96±0.68)and(3.56±0.81).3.Gender,teaching status, employment status, age, working years, highest educational background, technical title, monthly salary, hospital level, marital status had statistically significant effects on perfectionism of nurses(P<0.05).4.Pearson correlation analysis showed that perfectionism was significantly correlated with self-acceptance(r=-0.216),work-family conflict(r=0.541)and work-family enrichment(r=0.197)(P<0.01).Self-acceptance was significantly correlated with work-family conflict(r=-0.229)and work-family enrichment(r=0.093)(P<0.01).5.The results of mediating effect test showed that the coefficients c,a,b and c ’ were all significant(P<0.001),and the indirect effect ab was the same sign as the direct effect c;The mediating effect value was 0.072,and 95%CI was[0.036,0.115],excluding 0,indicating that self-acceptance(self-evaluation)was a partial mediating effect between perfectionism and work-family conflict, and the mediating effect was 11.88%.Conclusions1.The overall level of perfectionism in nurses was relatively high, the level of selfacceptance of nurses was medium, and nurses had a medium level of work-family conflict and an above average level of work-family enrichment, which should be paid attention to by hospital managers.2.Gender,teaching status, employment status, age, working years, highest educational background, technical title, monthly salary, hospital level, marital status were the factors affecting nurse perfectionism.3.There was a correlation among nurse perfectionism,self-acceptance and work-family conflict and work-family enrichment.4.Self-acceptance(Self-evaluation)partially mediated the relationship between perfectionism and work-family conflict.
