Research Trends And Hotspots In Heart Failure:A Bibliometric And Scientometric Analysis

Objective:This study aims to provide an overview of the research area,explore current hotspots and screen the distribution of heart failure.Method:Literature data were collected from the core collection of Web of Science.Computer software such as CiteSpace,VoSviewer,and so on have been employed to explore the research trend,hotspot,high-impact research.Result:There are huge gaps in the development of heart failure between countries and academic institutions.European and North America countries finished the most work about heart failure research.Research trend changed over time as follows:chronic heart failure→heart failure disease management→outcomes studies→congestive heart failure→B-type natriuretic peptide→cardiac resynchronization therapy→diastolic heart failure→acute heart failure→novel biomarker→stain use→remote monitoring→FAIR-HF trial→atrial fibrillation→exercise training→ejection fraction→iron deficiency→mid-rang ejection fraction→inflammatory cytokine→SGLT2 inhibitor.And research about HFpEF、SGLT2i、iron deficiency and HFrEF were the current hotspot in heart failure.Conclusion:The researches about heart failure are flourishing and European and North America countries occupied the major position of heart failure research.There are still large gaps between China and developed countries.And HFpEF,SGLT2i,iron deficiency,HFrEF are the hot topics in current research about heart failure.
