Heart rate and respiration are important physiological parameters associated with human vital signs,and they are important reference indicators used for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and clinical diagnosis.At present,traditional contact measurement methods are commonly used for these physiological parameters,but the limitations of contact measurement lead to limited application scenarios,so it is necessary to study non-contact detection methods.In this paper,a non-contact remote monitoring system of vital signs based on ultra-broadband radar is designed to solve the possible problems in the contact measurement of human respiration and heart rate.The system collects mixed signals of human respiration and heart rate through electromagnetic wave emitted by ultra-broadband radar.After the signals are separated by the self-designed monitoring terminal,the data is sent to the cloud platform and mobile APP for display,which realizes the remote monitoring function and has certain practical significance in real life.The main work completed in this paper includes the design of monitoring terminal,the design and implementation of separation algorithm,and the development of mobile APP.The design of monitoring terminal includes the hardware part and the software part.The hardware part includes the circuit design of each function module,PCB drawing,welding components and modules,etc.The design of the software is mainly to complete the reception of the data collected by the radar module,the separation algorithm is used to process the received data,and the completed data is sent to the WIFI module,which uploads the data to the cloud platform.The separation algorithm uses the power spectrum as the theoretical basis to separate the mixed signals of respiration and heart rate.The feasibility of the separation algorithm is verified in the simulation software.The separation algorithm is transplanted in the monitoring terminal,and the accuracy of the separation algorithm is obtained by comparing with the measured data of the heart rate meter.The independently developed mobile APP obtains data through the cloud,displays the data remotely on the mobile application interface,and stores the data to the mobile phone.It has been verified that the entire monitoring system can obtain mixed signals from ultra-broadband radar,then separate breathing and heart rate,and display them remotely on PC and mobile phones with high accuracy.Using the measurement value of heart meter as the standard value and the experimental value,the measurement accuracy of heart rate is BPM of around plus or minus two,and comparing the frequency of inhalation with the experimental value.
