| Objective:To investigate the level of self-perceived burden of hospitalized patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in Western Hunan area,and to study the influencing factors of self-perceived burden of COPD patients in Western Hunan area.It provides a reference for the intervention test in the future and for the clinical medical staff to reduce the self-perceived burden of patients.Methods:By random sampling,246 hospitalized patients in Western Hunan area were selected.The general information questionnaire,self-perceived burden scale,hospital anxiety and depression scale and perceived social support scale were used to collect the data of patients.SPSS26.0 was used to collate and analyze the data.Results:1.In this study,the average score of self-perceived burden of COPD patients in Western Hunan area was(30.65 ± 7.36),which was generally at the medium burden level.There were 14 people(5.7 %)without obvious burden,and 232 people(94.3 %)had different degrees of self-perceived burden.Among the scores of the three dimensions,the economic burden was the highest,and the average score of the dimension was(3.45 ±1.01).2.There were 231 patients with varying degrees of anxiety,mild,moderate and severe accounted for 50.8 %,37.8 % and 5.3 % respectively;194 patients had varying degrees of depression,mild,moderate and severe accounted for 42.3 %,28.9 % and 7.7 %respectively.3.The mean total score of perceived social support was(45.25±10.34),which was generally at the intermediate support level.The highest score was from family support(20.21 ± 3.17).4.Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease classification,perceived social support,family per capita monthly income,the health of the main caregivers,the number of hospitalizations in the past year,gender were the influencing factors of self-perceived burden of COPD patients in Western Hunan area(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1.The incidence of self-perceived burden of COPD patients in Western Hunan area is high,and the overall burden level is moderate.2.There was a positive correlation between the degree of depression and selfperceived burden in patients with COPD in Western Hunan area,and there was a negative correlation between perceived social support ability and self-perceived burden.3.COPD classification,social support level,monthly family income per capita,physical health status of primary caregivers,number of hospitalizations in the past year and gender(female)are the main factors affecting self-perceived burden of COPD patients in Western Hunan area.Clinical medical workers should combine the actual situation of patients to provide high-quality and effective services to patients and reduce the internal burden of patients with COPD. |
