Objective: Through the comparative study in the groin combination of patients with liver cirrhosis ascites and inguinal hernia surgery in patients without liver cirrhosis ascites, the situation of the postoperative complications, hospital stay, postoperative hernia recurrence, evaluate the efficacy and safety of patients with such in line Lichtenstein,at the same time, research on patients with inguinal hernia with cirrhosis ascites how to strengthen the perioperative management,Enhance the tolerance of patients to surgery, improve the quality of life of patients after surgery,as far as possible to avoid the occurrence of serious complications caused by surgical treatment and death of patients. Methods: A total of 65 patients with inguinal hernia combined with cirrhotic ascites underwent Lichtenstein surgery in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture People’s Hospital from June 2017 to November 2021 were selected as the experimental group.Stratified sampling method was used to select 66 patients who underwent Lichtenstein for inguinal hernia without cirrhotic ascites at the same period as the control group. All operations were performed by our doctors. All patients and their relatives included in this study were informed and signed consent for surgical treatment. The basic information, past medical history, laboratory reports, surgical conditions, postoperative complications and other relevant clinical data of patients in the two groups were collected.Chronic pain and recurrence of hernia in the two groups were achieved through outpatient or telephone follow-up.After collecting relevant data, the surgical situation and postoperative complications of patients in the two groups were compared and analyzed,as well as the surgical situation and postoperative complications of patients in the experimental group with liver function grade A and liver function grade B,and the factors affecting the length of hospital stay of patients in the experimental group after Lichtenstein were further analyzed. Results:The comparison and analysis of patients in the experimental group and the control group were as follows: operative time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative ambulation time, anal exhaust/defecation time P values were less than 0.05,indicating that the control group had an advantage in terms of surgical conditions compared with the experimental group. The total complications in the experimental group after surgical treatment were higher than those in the control group, but the P value of incision bleeding was only found to be less than 0.05 by single comparison of postoperative complications, indicating that the incidence of incision bleeding in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group. However, the incidence of incision infection, scrotal hematocele/effusion,liver failure, hernia recurrence, chronic pain, urinary retention and seroma were P value higher than0.05,and there was no significant difference between the two groups.Liver function grade A in the experimental group patients and liver function grade B contrast, liver function grade B patients, scrotal incision bleeding hemorrhage reffusion, urinary retention, seroma P value is less than 0.05,shows that occurs when the liver function of class B effusion, scrotal incision bleeding hemorrhage, urinary retention, seroma from A higher level of patients of liver function.Statistical analysis of intraoperative blddeing, operation time, postoperative anal exhaust/defecation time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative ambulation time, incision infection, liver failure, hernia recurrence and chronic pain between the two groups showed P value greater than 0.05,showing no significant statistical difference. In the analysis of factors affecting the length of hospital stay after Lichtenstein operation in patients with experimental group, the P value after statistical analysis of hyperlipidemia, hernia location and degree of cirrhosis, incision infection and serum swelling, and intraoperative bleeding was less than 0.05,the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: Lichtenstein operation is safe and feasible for patients with inguinal hernia complicated with cirrhotic ascites, but the perioperative treatment is very important, which is related to the recovery of patients’ condition after operation,so it should be treated with caution.
