Study On Clinical Efficacy And Mechanism Of Tiankuang Decoction In Treating Active Ulcerative Colitis With Spleen Deficiency And Dampness

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of medicine compound Tiankuang Decoction in treating spleen deficiency dampness syndrome of active period ulcerative colitis,and study its safety and action mechanism.Contents:Sorting out the history of ulcerative colitis in ancient China;Summarize the ancient doctors’ understanding of ulcerative colitis.Summarize the understanding of modern medicine on ulcerative colitis.Observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Tiankuang Decoction in treating spleen deficiency dampness syndrome of active period ulcerative colitis through clinical study.Based on network pharmacology research on the action mechanism of Tiankuang Decoction in treating ulcerative colitis.Discussed the action mechanism of Tiankuang Decoction in treating ulcerative colitis from multiple aspects such as theory of traditional Chinese medicine,network pharmacology and clinical research.Summarize modern doctors’ understanding of ulcerative colitis.Methods: 90 eligible patients were randomly divided into three groups with 30 patients in each group,including treatment group,traditional Chinese medicine control group and Western medicine control group.Treatment group oral Tiankuang Decoction plus or minus combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets;Traditional Chinese medicine control group was given Shenlingbaizhu powder plus or minus combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets;Western medicine control group only took mesalazine enteric-coated tablets.30 days for a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses.Traditional Chinese medicine symptom score and Mayo score of patients were recorded before and after treatment,and R language program was used for statistical analysis of the study results.。Results: The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was different from that of the control group(P<0.05);The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the western treatment group(P<0.01).The total scores of TCM symptoms were significantly different between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.01);There were significant differences between the treatment group and the western control group(P<0.01);There were differences between TCM control group and western control group(P<0.05).Mayo score comparison showed that there were significant differences between the treatment group and the western control group(P<0.05).Symptom scores of the treatment group for diarrhea,pus and blood stools,abdominal distension,and tenesmus were significantly different from those of the treatment group(P<0.01),the symptom score of the treatment group was different from that of the Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).The scores of minor symptoms in the treatment group were different from those in the control group for abdominal pain,gas and fatigue(P<0.05),the scores of the treatment group for thirst and fatigue were significantly different from those of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion: 1.The curative effect of Tiankuang Decoction in the treatment of ulcerative colitis is superior to Shenling Baizhu Powder and mesalazine enteric-coated tablets.2.The effect of Tiankuang Decoction on improving clinical symptoms is superior to Shenling Baizhu Powder.3.Tiankuang Decoction is safe for clinical application.
