| BackgroundDefecation disorder has a high incidence,which seriously threatens patients’quality of life.Intestinal rehabilitation management is the key measure in the treatment plan,focusing on the optimization of stool consistency and regulation of intestinal empyling,digital rectal technology,simple balloon dilation and discharge,anal dilation and massage,deep enema,etc,are feasible methods to assist intestinal management,there are many deficiencies in the existing intestinal rehabilitation equipment,intestinal management mainly depends on medical staff.Therefore,it is imperative to develop intestinal management tools with the core concept of "portable,usable,multifunctional and intelligent"ObjectivesThis topic carries out the research and development of defecation disorder assessment training system,and completes the analysis of user needs,system concept and model construction,system prototype development and testing,and usability evaluation.Methods1.Conceptual construction of defecation disorder assessment training system(1)Semi-structured interview method is adopted to investigate the needs of target users,in order to improve the matching degree between production equipment design and user needs.(2)Literature review:The relevant studies on bowel management techniques for defecation disorders were reviewed,and the implementation methods of multifunctional bowel management techniques were summarized.(3)The Delphi method is adopted to discuss user requirements and literature review results and form a new system design concept.2.Model construction,prototype development and testing of defecation disorder evaluation training system(1)Design,analysis and model construction of the new system by the expert team.(2)From sketch drawing to 3D printing,product mold opening,physical production to complete the core part of the Defecation disorder assessment training system.(3)Performance test and biological evaluation.3.Take the prototype of the core part of the Defecation disorder assessment training system body successfully developed and produced as the tool,recruit 16 target users to fully experience the prototype and complete the usability evaluation.Results1.Conceptual design of defecation disorder assessment training system.(1)The interview results of 17 users in the demand analysis show that the new instrument should be safe and effective,cheap,all-in-one,multi-functional,easy to operate and intelligent.(2)Literature review:A total of 585 literatures were retrieved,and 13 were finally included.The literature study found that the application of the new system needs to integrate various intestinal management techniques.(3)After expert consultation,the product features of the instrument are finally determined to include:Material selection,best balloon filling volume,best balloon filling selection,preset balloon expansion frequency,enema injection water and speed,depth enema cathetering depth adjustable,perianal massage,stool monitoring and rectal sensory function detection,remote control mode convenient for body operation,product recyclable,flexible collocation application,light weight and small size suitable.2.After the working group meeting of 11 experts participating in the meeting,it was determined that the hardware parts of the prototype system were:balloon expansion integrated with the insertion of the pipe,anal massage,enema and drug administration that could extend the depth of the pipe,and rectal electrical stimulation module;The software part is the interface design and control program writing of rectal sensation and pressure assessment function.The core part of the main body has been well evaluated by performance test and biology.3.Usability evaluation of defecation disorder assessment training systemThe results of quantitative evaluation using the system availability scale show that the prototype availability is good,and the results of qualitative interview after qualitative investigation show that the prototype has clear function setting,easy operation and high overall satisfaction.ConclusionsThe development and usability evaluation of the defecation disorder evaluation system enhanced the product usability and provided the basis for future family bowel function rehabilitation research.It is expected that the successful development of this system will contribute to the development of our defecation disorder rehabilitation. |
