Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Nape-Back Fat Pad Withmeridian Tendon Therapy Of Zhuang Medicine

Objective:To compare the clinical effect of Meridian Tendon Therapy of Zhuang Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined Therapy in treating nape-back fat pad.Methods:60 cases meeting the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into two groups: 30 cases(Zhuang Medicine therapy group)and 30cases(Traditional Chinese Medicine group).The observation group was treated with acupuncture plus massage plus cupping at the fat pad,and acupuncture points were selected: Jiaji point,Houxi point,Tianzhu point,Xuanzhong point,Shenmai point and along the package block.Treatment 2courses.Before and after treatment,the thickness of fat pad was measured by sebum thickness gauge,cervical dysfunction index and pain visual simulation scale were evaluated.Results:(1)There were no statistical differences in the basic clinical data of patients before treatment,such as age,sex and course of disease.(2)The fat pad thickness,pain visual simulation score(VAS)and cervical spine dysfunction index(NDI)of the two groups before treatment were not statistically significant and comparable.(3)Analysis of curative effect after treatment: fat pad thickness,pain visual simulation score scale and cervical spine dysfunction index of the two groups after treatment are lower than those before treatment,and have statistical significance(P < 0.05).After treatment,the fat pad thickness,pain visual simulation score scale and cervical spine dysfunction index of the two groups are lower than those of the control group,indicating that the effect of meridian tendon therapy of Zhuang Medicine on reducing fat pad and improving symptoms is stronger than that of the TCM comprehensive therapy group.Conclusions: The clinical effect of meridian tendon therapy of Zhuang Medicine on nape-back fat pad caused by upper cross cross syndrome is better than that of comprehensive therapy of TCM,and the size of fat pad,improvement of neck,shoulder and back pain and cervical vertebra dysfunction after treatment are obviously better than those of comprehensive therapy of TCM.
