Objective: Observe the clinical efficacy of Xuanbai Tongfu ointment in the treatment of infectious bronchitis of Mycoplasma pneumoniae in children(phlegm fever and lung evidence). Methods: From January 2022 to January 2023,66 children who met the criteria for Mycoplasma pneumoniae infectious bronchitis(phlegm fever and lung evidence)were divided into observation group and control group with 33 cases in the pediatric outpatient clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January2023.Control group: azithromycin dry suspension combined with ambrobuterol oral solution was given orally;Observation group: on the basis of the control group,Xuanbai Tongfu ointment was used as the medium of Tuina, and the acupoints were selected as lung Yu,ointment, large intestine Yu,Luhu, and Dingwhei points, once a day,7 days for 1 course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment,by comparing the symptom points of the main indicators(cough, phlegm, fever, wheezing, pulmonary signs),secondary indicators(spirit, thirst and drinking, abdominal distention, sluggishness, urine and urine conditions)and the changes in the antibody titer of Mycoplasma pneumoniae before and after treatment, and followed up for 3months.The two groups of children were observed and analyzed for upper respiratory tract infection,bronchitis,pneumonia,post-infectious cough, upper airway syndrome, esophageal reflux cough, asthma, pharyngitis, allergic rhinitis and prolonged pneumonia, and the clinical efficacy of Xuanbai Tongfu Paste in the treatment of infectious bronchitis of Mycoplasma pneumoniae in children was evaluated.Results:1.The baseline data of the two groups before treatment: age, sex, course distribution, disease severity, primary symptom score, secondary symptom score, total symptom score and laboratory index before treatment, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.After comparison, the effective rate of the observation group was93.54%,the effective rate of the control group was 84.38%,and the total effective rate of the children in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of the total score of TCM symptoms, the total score of the observation group was 17.81 ± 4.57 points before treatment,4.87 ± 3.10 points after treatment,19.19±3.78 points before treatment and 8.50±3.73 points after treatment, and the total score of both groups decreased significantly, and the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).In terms of the scores of single symptoms in traditional Chinese medicine, the scores of primary and secondary symptoms after treatment between the two groups were statistically compared with statistical significance(P<0.05),indicating that the observation group was better than the control group in improving the main symptoms(cough, phlegm, fever, wheezing, pulmonary signs)and secondary symptoms(spirit, thirst and drinking, abdominal distention, sluggishness, stool, urine). In terms of laboratory indicators, the antibody titer of Mycoplasma pneumoniae decreased in both groups after treatment, and the decrease in the antibody titer of Mycoplasma pneumoniae in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of children in the observation group was 22.6% and that in the control group at 3 months, which was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the recurrence rate of respiratory diseases in the observation group within 3months after treatment was lower than that in the control group. Conclusion(s): The results of this study showed that both the observation group and the control group could reduce the symptoms of the children, but the observation group was better than the control group in improving the main symptoms such as cough and sputum and the secondary symptoms such as thirst, drink, diet, and urine, and the observation group was better than the control group in terms of long-term prevention of the incidence of reinfection in children.Suggestive that this study used Xuanbai Tongfu Paste to treat children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae infectious bronchitis in children improved the clinical efficacy, reduced the pain of the children, reduced the reinfection rate, and was easily accepted by the children and their families, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
