| ObjectiveAnalyze and compare the expression levels of serum Gremlin1 and Macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF)in patients with heart failure(HF),and clarify the expression levels of Gremlin1 and MIF in patients with heart failure and their correlation with the severity of cardiac function.Methods86 patients with heart failure(HF)were collected from the Department of Cardiology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shenyang Medical College from December 2021 to December 2022,with their central function class II(29 cases),cardiac function class III(26 cases),and cardiac function class IV(31 cases).At the same time,50 healthy people were selected as the control group(non HF group).All the selected patients met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.All the selected patients were taken 4ml of elbow vein blood at admission and centrifuged,Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect the concentration of serum Gremlin1 and MIF,and the general clinical data and laboratory test results of each group were collated.SPSS29.0 data statistical software was used to statistically analyze the general clinical data,laboratory tests,serum Gremlin1 and MIF concentrations of patients in each group,and the expression and clinical value of Gremlin1 and MIF on the concentric function of patients with heart failure were analyzed by correlation analysis and area under the working characteristic(ROC)curve(AUC)of subjects.ResultsThe expression levels of serum Gremlin1 and MIF in patients with heart failure were significantly higher than those in patients without heart failure(healthy control group),and the expression levels of NTpro BNP,Gremlin1 and MIF also increased with the increase of cardiac function grade,which was positively correlated with cardiac function grade.The correlation analysis showed that Gremlin1 had a positive correlation with NTpro-BNP,a strong positive correlation with cardiac function grading(r=0.429,rs=0.807,P<0.05),and a negative correlation with LVEF(r=-0.363,P<0.05);There was no significant correlation between MIF and NTpro-BNP,but there was a positive correlation between MIF and LVEF(r=-0.338,p<0.05).According to ROC analysis,compared with the control group,the area under the ROC curve(AUC)of Gremlin1 and MIF in HF group were 0.950 and 0.650,and their boundary values were 3265.06ng/m L and 18.68ng/ml,respectively.The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of NTpro-BNP in combination with Gremlin1 and MIF are 0.988 and 0.973 respectively,and the boundary values are 3555.55ng/L and 339.59pg/ml respectively.Conclusions(1)Gremlin1 and MIF are highly expressed in patients with heart failure.(2)The expression level of Gremlin1 and MIF was higher with the worse cardiac function grading,and the ratio of Gremlin1 and MIF was higher with the deterioration of cardiac function.(3)In patients with heart failure,correlation analysis showed that the expression level of Gremlin1 was significantly correlated with LVEF and NYHA grades.The higher the expression level of Gremlin1,the worse the cardiac function grade and the lower the LVEF,which may be related to left ventricular dysfunction in patients with heart failure.There was only a weak correlation between the expression level of MIF and LVEF and NYHA grades. |
