| Objective:To verify the relationship between pathologic complete response(p CR)and clinicopathological features and disease-free survival(DFS)of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in triple negative breast cancer(TNBC),explore the predictive value of LDHA,MCT4 and B7-H3 in neoadjuvant chemotherapy and their relationship with DFS,clarify the difference in expression of LDHA,MCT4 and B7-H3 in TNBC before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and preliminarily explore the potential association between LDHA,MCT4 and B7-H3.Methods:Pathological specimens of 51 patients with TNBC admitted to Ganzhou People’s Hospital from December 2015 to February 2022 are collected, and the clinicopa-thological characteristics and follow-up information of the patients are also obtained. The expression of LDHA,MCT4 and B7-H3 before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy are detected by immunohistochemical staining. To analyze their value in efficacy and prognosis evaluation,as well as the potential association between them.Results:Ki67(P<0.05)is an independent predictor of p CR acquisition in TNBC.Non-p CR patients have a higher risk of recurrence than p CR patients, but there is no significant difference in DFS(P>0.05).LDHA(42.9%),MCT4(40.8%)and B7-H3(46.9%)are highly expressed in TNBC,but there is no statistically significant correlation with p CR and DFS(P(29)0.05),which may be related to the small sample size and short follow-up time. The positive expressions of LDHA(P(27)0.05),MCT4(P(27)0.05)and B7-H3(P(27)0.01)in 28 TNBC patients with residual disease after neoadjuvant therapy are all up-regulated,and the differences are statistically significant.Among them,MCT4 and B7-H3 are highly expressed in TNBC and positively correlated, and the difference is statistically significant(r=0.384,P=0.006).Conclusions:Ki67 is an independent predictor of p CR acquisition in TNBC.LDHA,MCT4 and B7-H3 may be related to the resistance of TNBC to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Among them,MCT4 and B7-H3 are co-expressed and positively correlated in TNBC,which is expected to become a bridge between the research of lactate metabolism and tumor immunity. |
