Application Effect Of RED Model In Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:The purpose of this study is to test whether the RED model can improve the quality of life of patients,improve the health of patients,and reduce the state of depression and anxiety during hospitalization.Methods:This study randomly selected 55 rheumatoid arthritis patients,from February,2022 to October,2022 in the Department of Rheumatolo-gy of the Bethune First Hospital of Jilin University,including 16 males,accounting for 30%;and including 39 females,accounting for 70%.The patients were sequentially numbered 1-55 according to the sequence of admission and treatment,and then randomly divided into control group and experiment group.There were 27 patients in the experiment group including 23 females and 4 males;and there were 27 patients in the control group including 15 females and 12 males.one patient was lost to follow-up.Nurses in the control group followed the doctor’s advice for conventional care,and the experiment group followed the doctor’s advice for conventional care.The RED model was used during the hospitalization,and the duration of experiment in this study was 3 months.Before the experiment commences and after the experiment finishes,the health status,psychological state,and quality of life of the two groups of patients were evaluated by the Health Assessment Scale,the Hospital Depression and Anxiety Scale,and the SF-36 Life Scale and recorded by researcher.Results:After three months,In the intervention group,the median of the preexperiment and post-experiment health assessment questionnaire score is(9vs3,P<0.01).In the control group,the median of the pre-experiment and post-experiment health assessment questionnaire score is(10vs6,P>0.01).There was no significant difference in psychological conditions between two groups.In the intervention group,the media of the physical functions,bodily pain,general health,vitality,and social function before and after the intervention are 55 vs.75,41 vs.62,45 vs.62,50 vs.75,50 vs.75,and the constituent of the role-physical is 0.0%vs.37.0%.And these media are the significantly different(P<0.05),.In the control group,the media of physical functions,role-physical(14.8%vs85.2%),bodily pain,general health,vitality,and social function are 50 vs.60,42 vs.62,50 vs.60,60 vs.65,63 vs.75 and the constituent of the role-physical is 14.8%vs.85.2%.But only physical function(P<0.05)was significantly different after experiment finished.Conclusion:Continuing care based on RED model can improve the quality of life of patients,improve the health status of patients,and reduce the state of depression and anxiety during hospitalization.
