| Objective:(1)To investigate the status and influencing factors of maternal internalized weight stigma and emotional eating.(2)To explore the relationship between three different types of weight stigma, and the correlation between internalized weight stigma, psychological distress and eating behaviors. To explore the mediating role of psychological distress in internalizing weight stigma and emotional eating. Methods:A cross-sectional study,a convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey in Changsha Maternal and Child Health Hospital and various community hospitals, and the survey was conducted after obtaining the consent of the relevant person in charge and the mother herself, including the general information questionnaire and the weight stigma experience questionnaire(EWS),Perceived Weight Stigma Questionnaire(WSSQ),Internalized Weight Stigma Questionnaire(WBIS),Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire,Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale(DASS-21),Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale(EDPS).SPSS 24.0 software was used for corresponding statistical analysis and processing, and statistical description, independent sample t test and one-way analysis of variance were used to explore the influencing factors of maternal internalized weight stigma and emotional eating;Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore maternal weight stigma and emotional eating. The correlation between each dimension of eating and each dimension of negative psychological state was analyzed by two types of mediation effect models on the basis of the correlation.First, internalized weight stigma was the independent variable, emotional eating was the dependent variable, and negative psychological state was Mediating variables were analyzed using the Process plug-in,and the mediating effect was tested using the Bootstrap method.Results:(1)A total of 478 subjects were included in the analysis,of which 25(5.2%)were underweight,278(58.2%)were normal weight,175(36.6%)were overweight or obese, and 78%said Once experienced weight stigma, the weight self-stigma score was(24.87±9.73)points,and the internalized weight stigma score was(27.13±7.58)points.(2)BMI(F=39.079,P<0.01),sleep quality(F=3.592,P=0.014),postpartum depression(t=-6.292,P<0.01),weight stigma experience(t=-5.380,P<0.01)was the influencing factor of maternal internalized weight stigma, weight stigma experience, perceived weight stigma and internalized weight stigma were correlated(P<0.05),internalized weight stigma, emotional eating and negative psychology Each dimension of status was correlated in pairs(P<0.05).(3)In the mediation model test, negative emotions in the maternal group played a partial mediating role between internalized weight stigma and emotional eating(R~2=0.1214,P<0.001),emotional eating internalized weight stigma and postpartum Depression played a partial mediating role(R~2=0.1171,P<0.001).Conclusion:The main influencing factors of maternal internalized weight stigma are BMI,sleep quality and depressive state;and there is a correlation between maternal weight stigma and emotional eating, and to a certain extent,it may mediate negative psychological state and cause emotional eating behavior occur.Figure 3,table 16,references 110... |
