| Objective:To investigate the current situation of discharge readiness of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,to explore the influencing factors that influence discharge readiness of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which may assist improving the level of discharge readiness and personalized discharge preparation plan in clinical practice. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional survey involving 339 patients from November 2021 to October 2022 in respiratory and critical care departments in two Grade A general hospitals in Baise from October 2022.Measurement tools included a general data questionnaire, discharge preparation scale, discharge guidance quality scale and social support rating scale were used.Data analysis was performed using SPSS23.0 statistical software, including descriptive analysis, univariate analysis(parametric and non-parametric rank sum tests),Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis,withα=0.05 as the test level.Results:(1)A total of 354 questionnaires were collected, and 339 valid questionnaires were finally included, with an effective rate of 96%.(2)The total score of discharge readiness was(92.84 ± 10.18),of which the personal status dimension score was(22.40±3.17),the adaptability score was(41.01 ± 5.83),and the anticipatory support dimension score was(29.44±5.93).The total score of discharge guidance quality was(136.50±15.54),and the score of social support was(38.06±6.86).(3)The total score of discharge guidance quality was positively associated with the total score of discharge readiness in COPD(r=0.41,P<0.001);the total score of social support was positively associated with the total score of discharge readiness of patients with COPD(r=0.38,P<0.001).(4)The results of multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that age, family per capita monthly income, residence mode, oxygen saturation, days of hospitalization, quality of discharge guidance, and social support were independent influencing factors of discharge readiness of COPD patients, which could explain 40.7% of the variation in discharge readiness.Conclusion:(1)The level of discharge readiness for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is moderate.(2)The discharge readiness for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is positively associated with the quality of discharge guidance and social support.(3)Age,family per capita monthly income, lifestyle, hospital days, oxygen saturation, quality of discharge guidance, and social support are the main factors affecting discharge readiness. |
