| Objective: To observe the clinical prevention and treatment effect of different administration modes of dyclonine on postoperative sore throat(POST)in patients undergoing elective thyroidectomy. Methods: A total of 60 patients admitted to the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from April 2022 to December 2022 who underwent elective thyroidectomy under general anesthesia were selected and divided into three groups according to random number table method: the group A(blank control group),the group B(dyclonine paint group)and the group C(dyclonine spray group),with20 cases in each group.SBP,DBP and HR of the three groups were recorded after quiet entry(T0),before intubation(T1),immediately after intubation(T2),before extubation(T3)and immediately after extubation(T4);The severity and incidence of choking reaction during extubation were recorded in the three groups; The severity and incidence of POST were evaluated at 6h,12 h and 24 h after extubation. Results: There was no significant difference in SBP,DBP and HR among the three groups at T0,T1 and T3(P>0.05);At T2,SBP,DBP and HR in the group C was significantly different from those in the group A and the group B(P<0.001),there was no significant difference between the group A and the group B(P>0.05);At T4,SBP,DBP and HR of the group A were higher than those of the group B and the group C,and the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05),there was no statistically significant difference between the group B and the group C(P>0.05);There was no statistically significant difference between the group B and the group C in the severity and incidence of choking reaction during extubation(P>0.05),the group A was significantly different from those in the group B and the group C(P<0.05).The group A was significantly different from those in the group B and the group C in the severity and incidence of POST at 6h,12 h and 24 h after extubation(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the group B and the group C(P>0.05).Conclusion: Dyclonine can effectively reduce the incidence and severity of postoperative sore throat after thyroidectomy. And can reduce the choking reaction during extubation. The glottis and subglottis sprayed with dyclonine can reduce the intubation stress response and make hemodynamics more stable. |
