The Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Qutan Huayu Zhitong Formula To Treat The Blockage Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis Type Of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:To observe the effect of modified Qutan Huayu Zhitong Formula on patients with the blockage of phlegm and blood stasis type of rheumatoid arthritis,objectively evaluate its efficacy,and provide new ideas and methods for clinical treatment of this disease.Methods:60 patients with rheumatoid arthritis of the blockage of phlegm and blood stasis type who meet the inclusion criteria of traditional Chinese and Western medicine were selected(57 cases were actually completed).Randomly divide into a control group and a treatment group,with 30 cases in each group(28 cases in the actual control group and 29 cases in the treatment group).The control group was treated with oral Iguratimod tablets,while the treatment group was supplemented with Qutan Huayu Zhitong Fang for 8weeks.By observing the various indicators of the ACR20 standard,disease activity score(DAS28-ESR score),the effectiveness of the modified Qutan Huayu Zhitong Formula in treating rheumatoid arthritis of the blockage of phlegm and blood stasis type was assessed using TCM syndrome scores and TCM syndrome efficacy evaluation before and after therapy in two groups of patients.Results:1.Comparison of ACR20 standard indicators after treatment: Laboratory indicators(ESR,CRP),joint evaluation(tenderness and swelling),pain evaluation(VAS,PGA,MDGA),and physical function evaluation(HAQ score)of the two groups of patients decreased compared to before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group showed a more significant decrease compared to the control group(P<0.05),with statistically significant differences.2.Comparison of disease activity scores after treatment: Both patient groups’ DAS28-ESR scores dropped from before treatment(P<0.05),although the treatment group’s drop was more pronounced than the control group’s(P<0.05),with a statistically significant differe-nce.3.Evaluation of the curative effect of ACR20 after treatment: ACR20’s overall effective rate in the treatment group was 86.21% while it was 71.43%in the control group(P<0.05).Statistics indicated that the difference was significant.The treatment group’s curative impact outperformed the control group’s.4.Comparison of TCM symptom and sign scores after treatment: The symptom and sign scores of joint pain,joint swelling,joint tenderness,poor flexion and extension,and morning stiffness in the two patient groups decreased in comparison to before treatment((P<0.05),with statistically significant differences between the treatment group’s improvement and that of the control group((P<0.05).5.Evaluation of TCM syndrome efficacy after treatment: the effective rate of TCM syndrome efficacy in the treatment group was 89.65%,while that in the control group was 71.42%,P<0.05,with a statistically significant difference.The efficacy of the treatment group was better than that in the control group.Conclusion:Both the modified Qutan Huayu Zhitong Formula combined with Iguratimod and the use of Iguratimod alone can effectively improve the ACR20 standard indicators,disease activity,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of RA patients with the blockage of phlegm and blood stasis type.However,the modified Qutan Huayu Zhitong Formula combined with Iguratimod improves the degree of improvement and has a more significant clinical effect on the disease.
