Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Thyroid Nodules With External Application Of Xiaoyu Ointment And Microwave Ablation

Objective:Through the observation of clinical effect of thyroid nodule external application of Xiaoyu ointment combined with microwave ablation,the advan-tages of Xiaoyu ointment in the treatment of thyroid nodule were discussed in depth.The aim is to provide a new idea and effective prescription for the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid nodule.Research methods:All the patients were from the second Department of Surgery,The First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from March 2022 to December 2022.They were diagnosed as thyroid nodule patients aged 18-70 years old,hospitalized and underwent ultrasound-guided microwave ablation of thyroid.A total of 60 patients were enrolled,including30 in the treatment group and 30 in the control group.The control group was treated with microwave ablation,while the treatment group was treated with external application of Xiaoyu ointment on the basis of the control group.The treatment lasted for 1 month and consisted of 3 courses of treatment with an interval of 7 days for each course.The changes of the maximum diameter and volume of thyroid nodules in the two groups before and after treatment were observed,and statistical analysis was carried out to evaluate the clinical effect.Research results:1.A total of 60 patients were collected as research objects in this project.During the treatment period,3 cases of shedding occurred,2 cases were shedd-ing in the treatment group and 1 case shedding in the control group.Finally,57 cases of shedding were completed.2.The total clinical effective rate in the treatment group was 89.29%,of which 9 cases were cured(32.14%),5 cases were effective(17.86%),11 cases were effective(39.26%)and 3 cases were ineffective(10.71%).The total effective rate in the control group was 72.41%,of which 2 cases were cured,accounting for 6.90%,4 cases were effective,accounting for 13.79%,15 cases were effective,accounting for 51.72%,and 8 cases were ineffective,accounting for 27.59%.3.After 3 courses of treatment,the maximum diameter and volume of thyroid nodules in patients were significantly reduced,P < 0.01 or P < 0.05,with significant differences.The results showed that the maximum diameter of thyroid nodule and the volume of thyroid nodule could be significantly reduced by this treatment method,indicating that this treatment scheme has a good effect on benign thyroid nodule patients.Research conclusions:1.External application of Xiaoyu ointment combined with microwave ablation can effectively promote the absorption of thyroid nodules,which is manifested in the reduction of maximum diameter and volume of nodules.2.External application of Xiaoyu ointment combined with microwave ablation is a safe and effective method for treating thyroid nodules.
