| Objective: We sought to investigate the potential correlation between human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(c-erb B-2)and clinicopathologic features by examining its expression in lung adenocarcinoma tissues.Additionally,we analyzed the correlation between c-erb B-2 expression and lung adenocarcinoma tissues to gain insights into the significance of this biomarker in the context of lung cancer. Our results provide important preliminary evidence for the role of c-erb B-2 in the initiation and development of lung adenocarcinoma, and pave the way for further exploration of its biological function and clinical utility. Methods: Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery conducted a study between January 2015 and January 2018,with the aim of examining the clinicopathologic characteristics of 103 patients diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma who had undergone surgical treatment. The relationship between c-erb B-2 expression in lung adenocarcinoma tissues and clinical case characteristics was detected by immunohistochemistry in 103 patients.Pathological tissue samples of 15 patients with lung adenocarcinoma with positive C-erb B-2 expression who underwent surgical treatment in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery,The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected.RNA was extracted from tumor tissues and adjacent tissues and transcribed for Real-time PCR.finally, the relationship between c-erb B-2 expression level and clinical parameters was compared by combining the 103 patients’ age of onset, gender, whether they smoked,TNM stage, presence of Finally, the relationship between c-erb B-2 expression level and each clinical parameter was analyzed by statistical methods, taking into account the clinical data of 103 patients, such as age at onset, gender, whether they smoked,TNM stage, and whether they had lymph node metastasis.Result:1.Among 103 patients with lung adenocarcinoma,32 patients(31%)were c-erb B-2 positive and 71 patients(69%)were c-erb B-2 negative.2.Significantly higher ERBB2 m RNA levels were observed in lung adenocarcinoma tissues than in paracancerous tissues,as demonstrated by Real-time PCR results, which was statistically significant.3.According to the expression status of c-erb B-2,the data of patients with lung adenocarcinoma, including the primary tumor(T),distant metastasis(M)and stage, were statistically significant(p<0.05).4.A Kaplan-Meier survival analysis revealed that lung adenocarcinoma patients with positive c-erb B-2 expression had a 5-year survival rate of 32%,which was significantly lower than those with negative c-erb B-2 expression(50%).Conclusion:.1.The expression of c-erb B-2 in patients with lung adenocarcinoma has certain tumor specificity.2.The expression of c-erb B-2 was significantly correlated with the primary tumor(T),distant metastasis(M)and tumor stage.3.The expression of c-erb B-2 in lung adenocarcinoma is an important risk factor affecting the survival of patients. |
