Study On The Current Situation And Influencing Factors Of Cardiac Rehabilitation Information Needs Of Elderly Patients With Coronary Heart Disease In Shenyang

Objective:To understand the current situation of cardiac rehabilitation information needs of elderly patients with coronary heart disease in Shenyang,and analyze their influencing factors,and provides reference for medical workers to formulate scientific and personalized health education programs for elderly patients with coronary heart disease.Methods:A total of 171 elderly patients with coronary heart disease who were hospitalized in the Department of Cardiology of a tertiary general hospital in Shenyang from November2021 to October 2022 were selected as the study subjects by convenient sampling,and the general condition questionnaire and the Chinese version of the cardiac rehabilitation information demand scale were used to evaluate the current status of cardiac rehabilitation information needs of elderly patients with coronary heart disease,and univariate analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to explore the relevant factors affecting the cardiac rehabilitation information needs of patients.The statistical results were expressed as P<0.05,indicating that the difference was statistically significant.Results:1.The total score of cardiac rehabilitation information needs of elderly patients with coronary heart disease in Shenyang was 3.75±0.56,and the score of all dimensions were > 3,and the content of information requirements was mainly drug knowledge,emergency and safety,basic knowledge of heart,diagnosis and treatment,stress and psychology.Elderly patients with coronary heart disease mainly obtain relevant information through communication and discussion with medical staff,Internet resources(websites,videos),and printed copies.2.Results of univariate analysis: There were statistically significant differences in the total score of cardiac rehabilitation information requirements of elderly patients with coronary heart disease in different ages,places of residence,and low-salt diet(P<0.05).3.The results of multivariate analysis showed that age(β=0.254),place of residence(β=-0.209),and whether low-salt diet(β=0.241)were the relevant influencing factors of cardiac rehabilitation information needs of elderly patients with coronary heart disease in Shenyang,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),which could jointly explain 12.0% of the total variation.Conclusions: 1.The total score of cardiac rehabilitation information needs and scores in all dimensions of elderly patients with coronary heart disease are high,and all information is considered important.The top five information needs are drug knowledge,emergency and safety,cardiology basics,diagnosis and treatment,stress and psychology.The main methods of information needs are "communication and discussion with medical staff","Internet resources(websites,videos)",and "printed versions".2.Age,place of residence,and eating habits were the influencing factors of the cardiac rehabilitation information needs of elderly patients with coronary heart disease.Patients who are older,have lower demand for cardiac rehabilitation information than younger older people,patients living in rural areas have lower demand for cardiac rehabilitation information than those living in urban areas,patients with low salt diets have a lower need for cardiac rehabilitation information than those with non-low salt diets.It is suggested that medical staff should comprehensively consider the different characteristics of patients to provide personalized cardiac rehabilitation health education to improve disease prognosis and improve health-related quality of life.
