Prenatal Anxiety And Depression Symptoms And Influencing Factors Of Pregnant Women In Shenyang During Omicron Virus Epidemic | | Posted on:2024-04-18 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:C R Yu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2544307088978669 | Subject:Social Medicine and Health Management | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective: This study is in the stage of epidemic transmission of Omicron variant of novel coronavirus.Omicron variant has the characteristics of rapid transmission,high proportion of recessive infection and mild cases.This study attempted to investigate the symptoms of anxiety and depression in pregnant women in Shenyang during the epidemic of Omicron strain,and to find out the influencing factors.Methods: In this study,a cross-sectional study was used to select pregnant women from May to July 2022 in the obstetrics outpatient department of a Grade III general hospital in Shenyang,Liaoning Province,and self-filling electronic questionnaire survey was conducted by self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS).General statistical description was used to describe the demographic characteristics of pregnant women in Shenyang.x~2 test and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of anxiety and depression symptoms.Results: In the survey of 400 pregnant women in Shenyang,the detection rate of anxiety and depression symptoms was 16% and 44.7%.The mean SAS and SDS scores of anxiety and depression were 41.805±8.218 and 48.483±9.366,respectively.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of anxiety symptoms of pregnant women in Shenyang were:(1)COVID-19 factors: "the degree of impact of the epidemic on life","whether they can have a medical check-up on time","worried about family members infected with COVID-19","whether they care about physical discomfort".(2)Obstetric related factors: "whether the appearance changes caused by pregnancy are acceptable".(3)Lifestyle factors: "daily exercise time".The influencing factors of depressive symptoms in pregnant women in Shenyang were: social support factors(β=-0.482).Conclusion: In Shenyang pregnant women,the detection rate of depressive symptoms was 44.7%,the detection rate of anxiety symptoms was 16%,and the comorbity rate of anxiety and depression symptoms was 7.75%.The COVID-19 outbreak during Omicron has had a certain impact on the anxiety and depression symptoms of pregnant women in Shenyang.It is necessary to pay attention to the daily emotions of pregnant women,protect pregnant women from virus infection and provide psychological counseling,so as to properly solve the problems that pregnant women are concerned about caused by the epidemic.Pay attention to depressive symptoms during pregnancy,especially during the second trimester,and do a good job in advance screening and prevention.In daily life,appropriate physical exercise should be carried out under the premise of health examination and doctor’s guidance,try yoga and other exercise methods.The family and society should provide pregnant women with social support,including psychological and physical support,and provide positive guidance to help pregnant women adjust to the psychological changes caused by pregnancy.Public opinion in the psychological aspects of pregnancy can do more positive guidance,organization of healthy topics,help pregnant women to alleviate the body anxiety caused by pregnancy. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | pregnant women in Shenyang, Prenatal anxiety symptoms, Prenatal depressive symptoms, Influencing factors, COVID-19 pandemic | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
