Objective: To investigate the influencing factors of delayed hospital admission in patients with acute ischemic stroke and the awareness of "Stroke 120" in patients with acute ischemic stroke, provide the basis for the formulation of solutions to the delayed hospital admission. Methods: 200 patients with acute ischemic stroke who were admitted to the Department of Neurology, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University from March 1,2022 to September 30,2022 were selected for this study. The contents of the investigation included patients’ basic information, possible influencing factors of delayed hospital admission, and "stroke 120" cognition.According to the time from onset to arrival at the hospital, the patients were divided into two group: ≤6h(non-delayed hospital admission group)and >6h(delayed hospital admission group).Univariate analysis and logistic regression analysis were performed on the influencing factors of delayed hospital admission in the two groups. Results: A total of 200 patients were included in this study for questionnaire survey, the average age of the surveyed patients was 64.95±10.05 years old,including125(62.5%)males and 75(37.5%)females,including 85(42.5%)patients in ≤6h group and 115(57.5%)patients in>6h group, and the delayed hospital admission rate was 57.5%.Compared with the two groups, there were statistically significant differences in the influencing factors of delayed hospital admission, such as address, onset time(day or night),whether consciousness changes at onset, whether the disease was known as cerebrovascular disease, the first hospital, the means of transportation, and the cognitive score of "stroke 120",with P<0.05.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the time of onset, whether consciousness changes at onset, whether the disease was known to be delayed hospital admission, the first hospital and the means of transportation were the factors affecting the delayed hospital admission. The risk of delayed hospital admission was 2.494 times that of the patients with the onset time in the evening. The risk of delayed hospital admission in patients with conscious change was 0.291 times higher than that of patients with unconscious change. The risk of delayed hospital admission was 0.352 times higher in patients with knowledge of cerebrovascular disease than in those without knowledge of cerebrovascular disease. The risk of delayed hospital admission in the first visit to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College was0.302 times higher than that in the first visit to other hospitals. The risk of delayed hospital admission was 0.240 times higher for patients who used 120 emergency care than for those who used public transport. Conclusion: The address of patients with acute ischemic stroke, onset time, onset symptoms, whether they knew that the disease was cerebrovascular disease, the first hospital, the means of transportation, and the cognitive score of "stroke 120" were correlated with the delayed hospital admission.Among them, living in the city, daytime onset, conscious change, first visit to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College, knowing the onset of cerebrovascular disease, using 120 first aid,and high cognitive score of "stroke 120" are favorable factors for shortening the pre-hospital delay. In order to shorten the delayed hospital admission time of patients with acute ischemic stroke,it is important to improve the cognitive level of knowledge related to acute ischemic stroke and the awareness of using medical emergency services.
