ObjectiveThis topic through the pressing beans at ear acupoints used in the treatment of venomous snake bite with fire-toxin pattern, record clinical symptoms and signs(pain, swelling),experimental indicators(histamine,5-hydroxytryptamine,hs-CRP),the points before and after treatment, efficacy index, and verify the clinical curative effect of pressing beans at ear acupoints in the treatment of snakebite with fire-toxin pattern,in order to apply in clinical treatment better than before.MethodsThis study plans to collect 80 cases of snake bite patients with fire-toxin pattern, and divides randomly them into control group and treatment group. The control group was given basic treatment for snakebite, and the treatment group was treated with pressing beans at ear acupoints on the basis of the treatment plan of the control group. Both groups were treated for7 days.Observe the changes of various indicators and clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients before and after treatment, and adverse reactions.Through relevant statistical analysis, evaluate objectively the clinical efficacy of pressing beans at ear acupoints on venomous snake bite with fire-toxin pattern.Results1.In this study,77 cases were received, there are 38 cases in the control group, and 39 cases in the treatment group. There was no statistically significant comparison of baseline data and pre-treatment conditions between the two groups(P>0.05).2.5-HT: When comparing the same time points between two groups, the treatment group was lower than the control group when comparing day 3 and day 7 of treatment(both P<0.05).When comparing different time points within the same groups, the indicators of day3 was lower than the indicators before treatment, and the indicators of day 7 was lower than the indicators of day 3,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the overall trend was downward.3.Histamine: When comparing the same time points between two groups, the treatment group was lower than the control group on day 3,but there were no difference on day 7(both P<0.05).When comparing different time points within the same groups, the indicators of day3 was higher than the indicators before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the indicators of day 7 was lower than the indicators before treatment and the indicators of day 3,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the histamine level increased first and then decreased.4.hs-CRP: When comparing the same time points between two groups, the differences were not statistically significant on day 3 and day 7(both P>0.05).When comparing different time points within the same groups, the indicators for day 3 was lower than the indicators before treatment, and the indicators for day 7 was lower than the indicators for day 3,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the overall trend was downward.5.Pain scores: When comparing the same time points between two groups, the treatment group was lower than the control group when comparing day 3 and day 7 of treatment(both P<0.05).When comparing different time points within the same groups, the pain scores of day3 was lower than the pain scores before treatment, and the pain scores of day 7 was lower than the pain scores of day 3,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the overall trend of the pain scores was downward.6.Swelling scores: When comparing the same time points between two groups, the treatment group was lower than the control group on day 3,but there were no difference on day 7(both P<0.05).When comparing different time points within the same groups, the swelling scores of day 3 was higher than the swelling scores before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the swelling scores of day 7 was lower than the swelling scores before treatment and the swelling scores of day 3,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the swelling scores increased first and then decreased.7.Total clinical efficacy: 22 cases were cured in the control group,16 cases showed efficacy,0 cases were effective,0 cases were invalid,28 cases were cured in the treatment group,11 cases showed efficacy,0 cases were effective,0 cases were invalid, the overall efficiency was 100%,the differences were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).8.Assessment of adverse reactions and safety indicators: No serious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment period in both groups, and no abnormalities were found in the safety indicators.ConclusionThe pressing beans at ear acupoints has the function of dredging meridians and relieving pain, that enhance clinical efficacy, improve pain, reduce early limb swelling,reduce5-hydroxytryptamine levels and histamine levels, but has no significant effect on hs-CRP.Occurred during the treatment, the dverse reactions were not observed,so the security is high, which worth to be promote in clinical practice.
