| Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of para-acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture on rotator cuff injury. Methods: A total of 72 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the inpatient department and outpatient department of acupuncture and moxibustion Department of Yunnan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group using SPSS26.0 software, with 36 cases in each group. The two groups were treated with electroacupuncture and the control group received conventional acupuncture. The experimental group was treated with para-acupuncture compared with the control group. Both groups were given 12 times a day,3 times a week for 4 weeks. After treatment,VAS score, shoulder range of motion and shoulder JOA score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups to judge the improvement degree of clinical symptoms of patients with rotator cuff injury. The JOA score of shoulder joint was used to compare the good and good rate of treatment outcomes between the two groups.Results:1.General data of the two groups of patients; There were no significant differences in age, gender, course of disease and shoulder side before treatment(P>0.05).VAS score, shoulder range of motion and JOA score before treatment were compared between the two groups, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05),and the evaluation index data of the two groups were comparable before treatment.2.VAS score: There were significant differences in VAS scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both treatments could effectively improve patients’ pain.VAS score of experimental group was lower than control group after treatment, and pain relief of experimental group was better than control group(P<0.05).3.Degree of motion of shoulder joint: After treatment, the degree of motion of anterior flexion, abduction, external rotation and internal rotation of shoulder joint in the two groups were higher than before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of shoulder flexion, abduction and external rotation in experimental group was better than that in control group after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in internal rotation function score between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).4.Shoulder joint JOA score:The shoulder joint JOA score after treatment was higher in both groups than before treatment, indicating that the two therapies were effective in the treatment of patients with rotator cuff injury(P<0.05).JOA score of shoulder joint in experimental group was higher than that in control group after treatment(P<0.05).5.Comparison of excellent and good rates: According to the classification of JOA scores, the final excellent and good rate of the experimental group accounted for 74.29%,and the final excellent and good rate of the control group accounted for 38.24%.The good and good rate of experimental group was better than that of control group, indicating that the good and good rate of para-acupuncture was higher than that of conventional acupuncture(P< 0.05).Conclusion : The treatment of rotator cuff injury with para-acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture and conventional acupuncture can improve the clinical symptoms of patients, including pain, shoulder joint abduction, forward flexion, external rotation and internal rotation. And improvements in patients’ daily quality of life.Besides,para-acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture was superior to conventional acupuncture in improving patients’ pain and shoulder joint abduction, forward flexion and external rotation. The excellent and good rate was also higher than that of the control group. |
