Medical disputes are important factors that affect the normal working order of medical institutions and social harmony and stability. In recent years, with the continuous promotion of China’s medical and health system reform, the medical and health cause has made considerable progress, but the number of medical disputes has also increased year by year, and the doctor-patient relationship is tense, which has gradually reduced the public’s trust in hospital doctors, and may also cause serious social and public security problems. How to effectively prevent and solve medical disputes has become the focus of the public and academia. This study takes F Hospital in W City(3-A-grade General Hospitals)as an example, based on the total quality management theory and information asymmetry theory, uses the literature analysis method, case analysis method, statistical analysis method and interview method to analyze the causes of medical disputes from the perspective of the medical party(medical party’s fault),and discusses the targeted governance countermeasures.First of all, this study defines the concepts of doctor-patient relationship, medical fault and medical dispute, and clarifies the relevant research scope, and takes the theory of information asymmetry and the theory of comprehensive management as the theoretical basis of this paper to provide theoretical support for subsequent research.Secondly,it analyzes the characteristics of medical disputes in F Hospital of W City in recent years and the factors causing medical disputes, among them, factors affecting the technical level of medical personnel include inadequate assessment and handling of medical conditions, surgical operation issues, and other issues.Factors affecting the sense of responsibility of medical personnel include inadequate perioperative patient management and communication between doctors and patients.Factors affecting the management system of medical institutions include defects in institutional processes and inadequate personnel management;Thirdly, analyze and draw lessons from the typical cases of the treatment of medical disputes and medical faults at home and abroad; Finally, based on the triggering factors and their formation mechanisms of the medical sector,as well as typical case studies, targeted multiple governance strategies have been proposed for the technical and responsibility factors of medical personnel,as well as the management factors of medical institutions.
