Study On The Prescription Law Of Professor Liu Tiejun Treating Cold Syndromes With Mahuang Prescriptions Based On Data Mining

Objective: This project is based on the National Key R&D Program–the experience inheritance and innovation research of the famous veteran doctors of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)based on the idea of “combining Taoism and Technique” and the multi-fusion method.Through data mining methods and the TCM inheritance support platform(V2.5),to summary the prescription law that Professor Liu Tiejun use Mahuang(Ephedrae)prescriptions to treat cold syndrome,in order to guide clinical practice and inherit the experience of famous veteran doctors of TCM.Method:1.Data source: From October 2021 to June 2022,This study collected tutor use Mahuang prescription in Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The Mahuang prescriptions selected in the study include Mahuang Decoction,Xiaoqinglong Decoction,Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction,Xiaoxuming Decoction and Wuji Powder,whose main components are all original books.The case requires complete general information,initial diagnosis records and four diagnostic information.The medical records are comprehensively sorted out and screened in strict accordance with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.2.Data collection and processing: To standardize the disease name,symptoms,signs,tongue and pulse,drug name and other information in the case data of ephedra prescriptions selected in this study,and input them into the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support platform,and the entry data is strictly controlled by a special person to ensure the comprehensiveness,accuracy and authenticity of the database data.3.Researchful methods: According to the research purpose,the frequency analysis in the statistical report module of the software,the cluster analysis and correlation analysis in the data analysis module are adopted respectively.Results: The data mining statistics of 294 medical cases were carried out,and the results were as follows:There were 64 cases of Mahuang Decoction,53 cases of Xiaoqinglong Decoction,60 cases of Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction,66 cases of Xiaoxuming Decoction and 51 cases of Wuji Powder.The indications,main symptoms,main drugs,combined prescriptions and the composition principles of main diseases of each Mahuang prescription were obtained.The prescription rules,prescription characteristics and medication ideas in the treatment of cold syndrome with Mahuang prescription were analyzed and summarized.1.Mahuang Decoction: The tutor mainly used Mahuang Decoction to treat 8 types of systemic diseases such as digestive and respiratory systems,a total of 24 diseases;The main symptoms: chill,anhidrosis,fever,aversion to cold,headache,fatigue;The main tongue: pale red,light white,red,the main tongue coating: thin white,greasy,yellow,the main pulse:slippery,floating,rapid;The main drugs: Mahuang,Guizhi,Xingren,Gancao,Baishao,Dazao,Shengjiang,Fangfeng,Daihuang;The main combined prescriptions: Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction,Zhishi Daozhi Pill,Danggui Shaoyao Powder,Chaihu Shugan Powder;The main diseases: chronic non-atrophic gastritis,common cold,the prescription law of chronic non-atrophic gastritis: invigorating spleen,nourishing qi and blood,clearing heat,purgation,the prescription law of common cold: sweating and relieving exterior evils,releasing pulmonary qi and relieving asthma,activating blood,moving qi and relieve pain.2.Xiaoqinglong Decoction: The tutor mainly used Xiaoqinglong Decoction to treat 6types of systemic diseases such as digestive and respiratory systems,a total of 25 diseases;The main symptoms: cough,chills,fever,fatigue,anhidrosis,aversion to cold,cold limbs,chest distress;The main tongue: pale red,light white,purple dark,the main tongue coating:white,white slippery,the main pulse: slippery,floating;The main drugs: Mahuang,Guizhi,Baishao,Banxia,Wuweizi,Ganjiang,Xixin,Gancao;The main combined prescriptions:Chaihu Shugan Powder,Longdan Xiegan Decoction,Chenxiang Huazhi Pill;The main diseases: functional dyspepsia,chronic bronchitis,the prescription law of functional dyspepsia: warming yang,dissipating phlegm,regulating qi,nourishing blood,the prescription law of chronic bronchitis: dispelling exterior cold,astringing lung,relieving cough and dissipating phlegm,warming yang,regulating qi,nourishing blood.3.Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction: The tutor mainly used Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction to treat 7 types of systemic diseases such as digestive and respiratory systems,a total of 23 diseases;The main symptoms: fever,fatigue,chill,aversion to cold,cold limbs,abdominal pain,gastric distention,poor appetite,diarrhea;The main tongue: pale white,light red,the main tongue coating: thin white,less tongue coating,the main pulse: slippery,sinking,floating;The main drugs: Mahuang,Fuzi,Xixin,Gancao,Dangshen,Baishao;The main combined prescriptions: Xinyi Powder,Zhishi Xiaopi Pill,Wenpi Decoction;The main diseases: chronic diarrhea,gastrointestinal cold,the prescription law of chronic diarrhea:warming yang,invigorating spleen,the prescription law of gastrointestinal cold: dispelling exterior cold,warming yang,invigorating spleen.4.Xiaoxuming Decoction: The tutor mainly used Xiaoxuming Decoction to treat 8 types of systemic diseases such as digestive and circulatory systems,a total of 27 diseases;The main symptoms: fatigue,aversion to cold,cold limbs,poor appetite,clear and long urine,gastric distention,shortness of breath,stomachache;The main tongue: light white,light dark,the main tongue coating: thin white,white and greasy,less tongue coating,the main pulse:sinking,slippery,string;The main drugs: Huangqin,Dangshen,Baishao,Gancao,Guizhi,Chuanxiong,Xingren,Fangfeng,Mahuang,Shengjiang,Fuzi,Fangji;The main combined prescriptions: Tianwang Buxin Dan,Dachengqi Decoction,Longdan Xiegan Decoction;The main Diseases: Functional Dyspepsia,Chronic Atrophic Gastritis,the prescription law of Functional Dyspepsia: warming Yang,nourishing qi and blood,the prescription law of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis: warming Yang,nourishing qi and blood.5.Wuji Powder: The tutor mainly used Wujisan to treat 8 types of systemic diseases such as digestive and respiratory systems,a total of 28 diseases;The main symptoms: fever,gastric distention,chill,anhidrosis,poor appetite,stomachache,vomiting,nausea,aversion to cold;The main tongue: light white,pale red,the main tongue coating: white and greasy,white and slippery,the main pulse: slippery,sinking and slow;The maind drugs: Chenpi,Chuanxiong,Cangzhu,Baishao,Houpo,Fuling,Banxia,Mahuang,Gancao,Zhiqiao,Shengjiang,Jiegeng,Danggui,Baizhi;The main combined prescriptions: Chaihu Shugan Powder,Longdan Xiegan Decoction,Shenling Baizhu Powder,Zaizao Powder;The main diseases: gastrointestinal cold,chronic non-atrophic gastritis,the prescription law of gastrointestinal cold: dispelling exterior cold,warming Yang,eliminating dampness and phlegm,regulating qi,activating blood;the prescription law of chronic non-atrophic gastritis: warming yang,dispelling dampness and phlegm,regulating qi and activating blood.Conclusion:1.Tutor takes medicated syndrome-formula syndrome-syndrome differentiation as the mindset of prescription.Firstly,the Mahuang prescriptions are locked through the Mahuang syndromes such as chill,no sweat,fever,aversion to cold and fatigue.Next,according to the different formula syndrome,the appropriate prescription is selected from the Mahuang prescriptions.Finally,the patient’s pathogenesis is identified in detail,and the final outcom is assisted by the combination of disease and syndrome.2.Warming yang and dispelling exterior cold as well as treating the spleen and stomach.Tutor uses Mahuang prescriptions to treat cold symptoms with the mindset of warming yang and dispelling exterior cold,with treating the spleen and stomach throughout the treatment.Tutor inspire the source of qi and blood with invigorating the spleen and stomach while nourishing qi and blood especially for the purpose to support the healthy energy and eliminate evils by inspiring yang.3.The flexible application of Mahuang and Dahuang.The pungent heat Mahuang can dispersing lung qi,the bitter cold Dahuang can help the deoppilation of intestinum.The combination of them can eliminate the evil and alleviate stasis,regulating qi finally.4.The daedal application of Mahuang.Mahuang can stimulate and improve yang qi,thus it not only can treat cold syndrome but also help to inspire healthy energy to eliminate evil qi and relieving exterior evils.
