| Objective The main purpose of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of ischemic compression therapy combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy in the treatment of lumbodorsal myofascial pain syndrome, expecting to find a new clinical treatment option to reduce or cure the clinical symptoms of patients, provide convenient and effective treatment for patients, and improve their quality of life. Methods The subjects were selected from November 2021 to December 2022,120 patients who visited Baotou Central Hospital and diagnosed with myofascial pain syndrome in the low back and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria,120 patients were randomly and equally divided into three groups and given three treatment regimens: ischemic compression therapy, extracorporeal shock wave therapy and a combination of both, and the patients’ pre-treatment and post-treatment scores were collected at 2 weeks and The Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)scores and Roland-Morris Dysfunction Questionnaire(RMDQ)scores were collected before and 2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment.Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0,which is a measure, and the data were analyzed before,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, with P < 0.05 indicating statistically significant differences. Results Compared with the pre-treatment,RMDQ scores and NRS scores of the combined group, shock wave group and compression group at 2 weeks post-treatment and 4 weeks post-treatment were reduced, and this result indicated that the above three treatment regimens were effective in the combined group, shock wave group and compression group. The RMDQ scores and NRS scores of the three treatment regimens before treatment,2 weeks after treatment, and 4 weeks after treatment were statistically significant(P< 0.05)when compared between and within groups, and the results of the analysis of differences in RMDQ scores and NRS scores for evaluating efficacy between different groups of the three treatment regimens showed that the excellent rate of treatment was higher in the combined group compared with the shock wave group and the compression group, and different groups in the two rating scales The results showed that the combination of ischemic compression and extracorporeal shock wave therapy was more effective than ischemic compression therapy alone and extracorporeal shock wave therapy alone. Conclusion Ischemic compression combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy for lumbodorsal myofascial pain syndrome is definitive, and ischemic compression combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy is superior to ischemic compression therapy or shock wave therapy alone. |
