Purpose:By measuring the MRD rate of patients undergoing double eyelid surgery before and after surgery,observing its changes,and comparing with the MRD rate of beautiful people,to explore the significance of this value on eye aesthetics and the value of evaluation of the effect of double eyelid surgery.Method:From June 2021 to September 2022,90 patients(180 eyes in total)who underwent double eyelid surgery in our department were included in the study.They were divided into 3 groups according to the different surgical methods selected by the patients: Group A was performed double eyelid surgery with tarsus-skin suture,30 patients(60 eyes in total);Group B was performed double eyelid surgery with fascia flap-skin suture,30 patients(60 eyes in total);Group C was performed double eyelid surgery with orbital septal lift aponeurosis fusion-skin suture,30 patients(60 eyes in total).All patients were followed up for 6-12 months,and the change of binocular MRD rate before surgery,1 month after surgery,3 months after surgery,and 6 months after surgery was analyzed.Collect 200 standard photos of beautiful young women through the internet,publish a voting questionnaire,and select 30 photos as the control group based on the voting results as the reference standard for eye beauty.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results:1.MRD rate of each group: Group A: preoperative MRD rate(36.62%±2.71%);MRD rate(37.09%±1.82%)1 month after surgery;MRD rate(41.42%±1.27%)3 months after operation;MRD rate(43.38%±1.86%)6 months after operation;Group B: preoperative MRD rate(35.92%±2.45%);MRD rate(36.55%±1.55%)1 month after surgery;MRD rate(39.66%±2.07%)3 months after operation;MRD rate(43.27%±1.50%)6 months after operation;Group C: preoperative MRD rate(35.52%±4.85%);MRD rate(37.79%±2.94%)1month after surgery;MRD rate(41.20%±1.53%)3 months after operation;MRD rate(43.80%±1.71%)6 months after operation;Control group: MRD rate(43.97%±1.38%).2.Comparison of data between the study group before surgery and 6 months after surgery:In group A,the difference between 6 months after operation and before operation was statistically significant(P<0.05).In group B,the difference between 6 months after operation and before operation was statistically significant(P<0.05).In group C,the difference between6 months after operation and before operation was statistically significant(P<0.05)3.The study group was compared with the control group before surgery and 6 months after surgery: The difference between group A before operation and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05);The difference between group B before operation and control group was statistically significant(P<0.05);The difference between group C before operation and control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).6 months after operation,group A was compared with control group,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.6 months after operation,group B was compared with control group,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant;6 months after operation,group C was compared with control group,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.4.Comparison of left and right data in study group 6 months after surgery: The left side and the right side of group A were compared,P>0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.The left side and the right side of group B were compared,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.The left side and the right side of group C were compared,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Through double eyelid surgery,the patient’s MRD rate can be increased,and the postoperative MRD rate is closer to that of the attractive population.2.The MRD rate can provide a reference for the evaluation of the postoperative effect and symmetry of double eyelid surgery,and is applicable to several popular double eyelid surgery methods.3.The MRD rate can be used as an important data for measuring eye aesthetics,and within a certain range,the eye aesthetics effect is better.
