| Objective:Through the investigation and analysis of the frailty assessment and scientific exercise knowledge,attitude and behavior of the elderly in Wucheng community,Balingqiao community,Jinyuan community and Economic and Technological Development Zone community of Taiyuan City,Shanxi Province,to understand the current situation and influencing factors of the frailty of the elderly in the community,to investigate and analyze the knowledge,attitude and behavior of the elderly towards frailty and scientific exercise,so as to achieve early detection and early intervention for the elderly in the community,guide the scientific exercise of the elderly in the community,and improve the quality of life.Reduce the adverse health consequences such as falls,disability,delirium,dementia,hospitalization and death,reduce the economic burden of the family and the country,and provide a basis for grass-roots general practitioners to prevent and treat the frailty of the elderly.Methods:By consulting the literature to make the《Community elderly frailty Assessment and Scientific exercise knowledge,attitude and behavior questionnaire》,from July2022 to September 2022,400 elderly people in some communities were investigated by convenient sampling method,and 385 valid questionnaires were obtained.The data were inputted into the database Epidata3.0 software by double entry method.The influencing factors of frailty of the elderly in the community were analyzed by single factor analysis and multiple Logistic regression analysis with SPSS26.0 software,and the differences between frailty and scientific exercise knowledge,attitude and behavior were analyzed by single factor analysis of variance.Results:Among the 385 elderly people surveyed in some communities in Taiyuan,the incidence of frailty was 13.8%,and the incidence of pre-frailty was 45.2%.Age and the number of chronic diseases are the risk factors for frailty of the elderly in the community,while exercise frequency and duration are the protective factors for the frailty of the elderly in the community.The total score rate of knowledge,attitude and behavior of the elderly in the community is 75.53%.Among them,the score rates of knowledge,attitude and behavior are 54.00%,80.63% and 77.63%,respectively.There were significant differences in knowledge of frailty and scientific exercise among the elderly in the community with different gender,education level,number of long-term medication and exercise frequency(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in attitude of frailty and scientific exercise among the elderly with different levels of education and long-term medication(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in the degree of frailty and scientific exercise behavior among the elderly in the community with different number of chronic diseases and long-term medication(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)the incidence of frailty among the elderly in Taiyuan community was 13.8%,and the incidence of pre-weakness was 45.2%.(2)Age and the number of chronic diseases are the risk factors for the frailty of the elderly in the community,while exercise frequency and duration are the protective factors for the frailty of the elderly in the community.(3)the frailty of the elderly in the community and the knowledge,attitude and behavior of scientific exercise are in the middle level,in which the degree of knowledge is in the low level,the degree of attitude is in the high level,and the degree of behavior is in the middle level.(4)The elderly in the community who were male,with higher education level,with more long-term medication,and with weekly exercise had higher knowledge of frailty and scientific exercise.Community elderly with higher education level and more long-term medication had higher frailty and scientific exercise attitude.Community elderly people with fewer chronic diseases and fewer long-term medication use have higher frailty and scientific exercise behavior. |
