With the increasing aging and hand dysfunction,there is an urgent demand for hand rehabilitation products.Currently,the existing hand rehabilitation products on the market mainly focus on the research of technology,mechanism,and function.The product form and functional structure,as well as the user experience,are poorly adapted.In order to explore product form images that meet the user’s image needs,obtaining a hand joint rehabilitation robot shape that is consistent with user preferences is the focus and purpose of this study.Firstly,analyze the current situation of rehabilitation robot products and morphological image theory at home and abroad,understand the market development status,and analyze the composition and psychological characteristics of target user groups for existing products by consulting literature in the fields of rehabilitation robot products and sports rehabilitation;Then,with the user as the center and the morphological image design as the premise,the KJ affinity graph method and interviews are used to explore the potential needs and morphological image characteristics of users.After optimizing and ranking the user demand indicators,a morphological image vocabulary that meets user preferences is constructed based on key indicators;Secondly,based on user preferences and the adaptive relationship between the morphological elements of the rehabilitation robot,six representative morphological image phrases were selected,and the morphological image evaluation of the sample products was conducted in the form of a questionnaire.According to the evaluation results,three user satisfied design elements of the rehabilitation robot product samples were obtained,guiding the design practice direction of the hand joint rehabilitation robot;Finally,the conceptual design of the rehabilitation robot product was conducted based on the user’s perceptual needs,and three design schemes were output.Through statistical analysis of data,TOPSIS was used to screen and evaluate the preliminary design scheme.Based on the evaluation results,multi-dimensional details such as shape,material,and function were ultimately optimized for Scheme 1,and a satisfactory rehabilitation robot product was designed.By studying the compatibility between the form of hand joint rehabilitation robot products and user images,the relationship between user perceptual needs and the characteristics of the form elements of the hand joint rehabilitation robot is summarized,and a more responsive form design of the rehabilitation robot product is obtained,which is conducive to improving user emotional experience and rehabilitation efficiency,and provides a reference for the form image design practice of joint rehabilitation related products.
