Objective:To investigate the status quo of exercise intention, resilience and quality of life of urinary incontinence patients after radical prostatectomy. The differences of self-esteem,resilience and quality of life in urinary incontinence patients with different demographic characteristics after radical prostate cancer surgery were analyzed. To analyze the correlation between resilience, exercise intention and quality of life in patients with urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy. To explore the influence of exercise intention and resilience on quality of life in patients with urinary incontinence after radical prostate cancer surgery,so as to provide a theoretical basis for medical staff to develop corresponding nursing intervention measures and improve patients’resilience, exercise intention and quality of life. Methods:Convenient sampling method was used to select patients with urinary incontinence after removal of catheter who underwent radical prostatectomy in 5 Grade-III hospitals in Gansu Province from December 2021 to September 2022 as subjects. The study tools included general data questionnaire(demographic and disease characteristics),exercise intention scale, resilience scale and urinary incontinence quality of Life scale. The data were input into SPSS26.0 in pairs and checked again.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical description and inference of relevant data.Results:1.The total average score of exercise intention of urinary incontinence patients after radical prostate cancer surgery was(17.08±2.54)points,which was at a relatively high level. There were significant differences in exercise intention level among patients with different education levels, per capita monthly family income and urinary incontinence duration(P<0.05).2.The total average score of resilience of urinary incontinence patients after radical prostate cancer surgery was(57.80±10.92)points,which was at the medium level.According to the mean value of dimension items, the highest score was(2.52±0.56)on the strength dimension, and the lowest score was(2.12±0.43)on the toughness dimension.resilience of patients with different ages, education, sleep status, medical insurance, duration of urinary incontinence and severity of urinary incontinence was different, with statistical significance(P<0.05).3.The average total score of urinary incontinence patients after radical prostate cancer surgery was(59.12±18.98),which was at a low level. The mean values of each dimension from high to low were:psychological social influence(2.80±0.89)score,Behavioral restriction(2.66±0.88)score,limited social activities(2.51±0.90)score.There were significant differences in the quality of life of patients with different education levels, marital status, sleep status, duration of urinary incontinence and severity of urinary incontinence(P<0.05).4.Pearson correlation analysis showed that exercise intention was positively correlated with resilience(r=0.217,P<0.01),exercise intention was positively correlated with life quality(r=0.169,P<0.05),and resilience was positively correlated with life quality(r=0.692,P<0.01).5.Linear regression analysis results showed that the quality of life of the study subjects were affected by the severity of urinary incontinence, exercise intention, resilience. The order of influence degree was urinary incontinence severity, resilience and exercise intention, which together explained 65.5%of the total variation in patients’quality of life(F=50.268P<0.01,R~2=0.655,adjusted R~2=0.642).Conclusion:1.Patients with urinary incontinence after radical prostate cancer surgery are at a medium level of resilience,a high level of exercise intention and a low level of life quality.2.Patients with higher education level, more per capita monthly family income and short urinary incontinence duration had higher exercise intention level;Patients with young age, high degree of education, normal sleep status, long duration of urinary incontinence, large proportion of medical insurance reimbursement, low degree of urinary incontinence had higher resilience, high degree of education, married patients with normal sleep, long duration of urinary incontinence, and mild degree of urinary incontinence had higher quality of life.3.There was a significant positive correlation among exercise intention, mental resilience and quality of life of urinary incontinence patients after radical prostatectomy. The severity of urinary incontinence, exercise intention and mental resilience were the influencing factors for the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after radical prostate cancer surgery, and the influencing degree was ranked as the severity of urinary incontinence, mental resilience and exercise intention.
